Chapter 13

I Fell In Love Again There's No Way Around It

Finn's POV:

I storm out of Sadie's room, on my way to find Caleb. I really shouldn't be this angry in all fairness I mean, I don't love Sadie. I don't. we're just friends.

My fists clench, my nails digging into my palm. I barge through another door and see.

"Caleb." I angrily mumble to myself.

I weave in and out of the chairs and see him, asleep. Grab a tight grip on the neck of his jumper.

"What the fuck are you doing here." I sternly whisper, bringing his face close to mine.

His eyes shoot open as he stares me down.

"Get the fuck off me!" he yells, pushing my body onto the row of chairs behind me.

My back crashes into the chairs. Millie, Noah and Lilia all wake up in a shock due to the noise.

I stand back up, face to face with Caleb.

"What you going to do now. Huh?" he says, smirking.

I stand there, my blood running cold. I try to not lash out but it's to late. I grab the neck of his jumper, swinging my right fist straight to his face. I take a step back as Caleb grabs his face. I stare at him, my breathing still fast and fists still clenched. My mind only filled with nothing but anger as I stare at Caleb, holding his hand over his cheek. He looks up at me making eye contact, smirking.

"F- Finn what are you doing?" Millie says whilst yawning.

I ignore her, I'm to focused on Caleb right now.

Caleb drops his hand from his cheeks, scoffing to himself.

"Is that all you've got, Wolfhard?" He says is a snarky tone.

Without thinking I charge straight up him punching him in the stomach. He gets winded but only for a short while before I look up and see his fist coming directly at my nose. He punches me square in the face, making me tumble back a bit. I taste the saltiness of my blood trickling down my nose and onto my lips. I shake it off and before I could fight back.

"Finn you need to stop!" Noah jumping in front of me, his hands on my chest pushing me back.

I try push pass Noah but, he's quite strong considering he's quite a bit shorter than me.

"Finn drop it!" He shouts, finally pushing me to the ground.

Caleb stares at me from the ground, before Lilia turning him around and walking the opposite way.

I'm beyond mad. Infuriated. Noah puts out his hand to help me up, but I hit it away, causing him to also get annoyed. I get up and walk out the hospital doors. The sun is slowly rising as the cool air hits my skin. I shouldn't have reacted that way but. I don't get why he's here, he very obviously doesn't and never will give a single fuck about said I just. Ugh.

I throw my head back with anger before turning to the brick wall next to me. Punching it as hard as I get. I wince at the pain as it travels up my hand and into my wrist. I go to do it again but.

"Wow, wow, wow Finn!" Millie comes running out standing in front of me, blocking me from the wall.

"Millie can you get the fuck out of my way!" I say, pure tone in my anger.

Millie and I are childhood friends, she's like a little sister. But, she's also best friends with Sadie so we're not AS close as we used to be but, I still love her like a sister.

"No Finn, I'm not moving." She says sternly, crossing her arms.

I stand there frozen, every emotion running through my body.

Anger, Sadness, Confusion, Lov-

"Not love Finn. Not love." I reassure myself.

"Finn is everything okay?" Millie asks in a soft tone looking genuinely worried.

"I just..." My voices cracks as tears well in my eyes.

I don't care about Millie seeing me cry. Or Noah or Maddie. Just,

Not Sadie.

"Hey, hey, hey, come here." Millie embraces me in a tight hug as I drop my head, crying into her shoulder.

She strokes my hair in attempt of making me feel better but I just.

No.

"You can talk to me you know Finnie?" She whispers, reassuring me.

I don't reply I just continue sobbing into her.

"Plus, if it's about Sade's you know I won't tell." She softly says, still holding me in a tight hug.

"Finn. NO. it's not about Sadie you don't love Sadie oka-"

"I'm still in love with Sadie."
