Tragic Back Stories and Height Differences
Sadie's POV:
My heart drops as I see Lilia staring at Finn and I through the window. I glance back at Finn and drop my jumper back over my stomach. I quickly shuffle my way over to the door.
"W- wait Sadie!" Finn says worried.
I turn around with tears forming in my eyes.
"Finn, I'll be back." I say softly before opening the door and walking out.
I don't know if I'll be back, especially after Lilia seeing me here, and if Caleb finds out well. That would be a shit situation.
I storm over to Lilia as she tries to walk away. I grab her wrist and stop her from walking.
"What the fuck are you doing here!?" I violently whisper.
"Get off me." She hisses back and she rips her hand out of my grip.
She looks at me up and down.
"Finn's jumper. Really Sadie?" she laughs and bites her bottom lip.
"Oh fuck off and answer my question." I say whilst rolling my eyes.
"Oh so when you just disappear in the night and your snap maps say you're at the hospital you expect us to just leave you there?!" she scoffs.
She did have a good point, I did just kind of get up and left.
"W- well why are you spying on us then!" I question throwing my hands in the air.
I try not to make a scene but this is pissing me off.
"W- well I just..."
"Oh spit it out!" I snap back.
I knew she just wanted to spy so she could tell Caleb that Finn and I we "doing something" because she's like in love with Finn.
"Ugh, you know full fucking well I like Finn! And you with Caleb so why the fuck you here for Finn anyways!" she spits like venom.
I feel tears forming in my eyes. Not because Lilia having a dig at me. Because I obviously still care for Finn. A lot. We've been through so much. I'm not just going to forget him.
I just roll my eyes and turn back around to Finn's room. I enter his room and tears just immediately fall from my eyes.
"Hey, hey what happened?" he asks worried.
I cough through my tears, trying to clear my throat before telling him.
"Lilia is what happened." I say with a slight giggle, wiping my face with the cuffs of the jumper I'm wearing.
He softly laughs in response to my answer. It goes silent for a couple of seconds. A nice silent like not awkward just. Peaceful.
"Sadie?" He breaks the silence.
"Y- yeah?" I sniffle.
"Does Caleb know you're here?"
"fuck." I think to myself.
It's not that I care he knows I'm here I'm just scared for Finn. Let's just say, Caleb and Finn have a bit of a rocky past. Plus, Caleb is just. I don't know how to explain it. I'm not saying he's a bad boyfriend he's just. Not Finn.
"No." I whisper.
"Sadie..." He groans.
"I'm sorry! I know I should tell him but,"
"But what?"
"Things just haven't been. Great." I say, making my way over to the chair in his room.
"What do you mean by that? Is it his drinking or..." Finn knows Caleb, well, the old Caleb inside-out. So, it's really easy to explain things to Finn about what he's been like.
"Finn, I haven't seen you in months. This story is long." I say with a slight laugh.
"Sadie, I don't know if you can tell but, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." He says with a laugh.
I laugh back at his, I guess 'warped' sense of humour.
"I can't be bothered but let's just say, um." I honestly have no idea how to word this. It's not good but I trust Finn.
"You have to promise not to tell ANYONE. I mean it Finn, no one can know." I say before telling him the full story.
"Sadie, it can't be that bad." He runs his hands through his hair whilst shuffling around to look at me.
I take a deep breath in and out. My heart races at like a cheetah on crack.
"Sadie?" he notices me getting nervous.
"You don't have to tell me if you don- "
"He's hitting me."
