Drunken Disaster

(Part 1)

Finn's POV:

It's around 5pm now, it's been over 6 hours since I've even herd from Sadie. I'm sure she's fine because she's with Millie but I'm still, worried. Jack's coming over in like 15 minutes to distract me. We've been best friends for years now like, the same as me and Millie basically. He knows only some details of me and Sadie but not everything so, he's going to have fun hearing about all of that.

I get up from my chair and pick up my phone off of my bed. I unlock it and scroll to my contacts, tapping on Sadie's name.

"I should ring her."

"Finn she's not yours, just wait till she rings you."

I turn my phone back off and walk out of my room. Both Nick and Dad are still out, maybe like in the city I'm not sure to be honest. Maybe even the pub. I walk into the kitchen, filling a glass with some juice in the fridge and sitting at the kitchen table.

"Can Jack hurry up." I mumble to myself.

Just as I say that, there's a light knock at the door. my mind flashes at the image of Sadie at the door but I know it's not her. I quickly stand up and make my way over to my front door. I see the shorter, curly haired boy stand in front of me.

"Finn!" He smiles.

"Hey Jack!" I say, hugging him.

He walks into the house, dumping some sort of carton of drinks on the table.

"I got us some, and Sadie if she's here." He smirks and winks at me.

"Oh, fuck off, she's at Millie's actually." I sarcastically roll my eyes, taking a seat at my kitchen bench.

"Are you in charge of picking her up then?" He asks, ripping open the carton and grabbing a beer.

"Yeah technically, but I haven't heard from her in hours." I say, rubbing my face.

"I see, well young fellow, 1 drink won't hurt!" He says, knocking the cap off on the edge of the bench and passing me the beer.

"I guess so." I shrug, clinking my drink with his.

We both take a light sip of the beverage before returning to our conversation.

"So, have you and Sadie..." Jack starts.

"No, we haven't, and I'm not planning." I say, taking another sip.

"wow that's a shock to my system!" He says, slapping his chest in shock.

"Now, you and Maddie..." I say, raising an eyebrow at Jack.

"We're on and off, as usual." Jack shrugs.

"Damn bro, sounds tough." I reply.

"I guess," He says, taking a sip of his beer.

"But she just starts a lot of arguments for no reason." He rolls his eyes.

"Maybe she just needs a lot of reassurance." I shrug.

Sadie's POV:

My head is a complete blur. I slur every sentence as Millie, and I dance in her living room.

"W- when are you going home!" Millie struggles to say.

"Mm I don't know!" I giggle back, pouring myself another shot.

"I- I can just walk!" I slur.

I swing the shot back as I feel the liquid burn the back of my throat. I cringe at the sensation, before shaking it off and going back to drunkenly dance with Millie.
