Grace leaned against the piano and watched Mr. Schuester moved around the room handing out sheet music for their upcoming number. She was trying her hardest not to look at Quinn like some creepy stalker, especially considering she was too busy flirting with her boyfriend to care about whatever lesson Mr. Schuester was about to teach.

"Here you go, Rachel..." Mr. Schuester smiled slightly towards Grace, sighing when she just stared at him blankly and accepted the paper. "And Grace."

Before Grace had the chance to process that they were doing Tonight from West Side Story, Rachel's head snapped up and she cleared her throat loudly in distress.

"Excuse me, this isn't the right key." She said, motioning to the sheet music Mr. Schuester was handing out.

"No. It's actually the right key." Mr. Schuester confirmed, as Rachel leaned towards Grace's paper and compared them. He quickly spoke up when he noticed Rachel trying to switch their papers. "Nope. That's Grace's."

"But I have the alto part?" Rachel pointed out, as the entire room looked towards the commotion in sudden interest.

"Yup." Mr. Schuester nodded his head, sending a small smile towards Grace, who narrowed her eyes. "Grace is doing the solo."

"Sike. It's yours." Grace scoffed, handing Rachel the sheet, but Mr. Schuester took a quick stride over and plucked it from the sophomore's hands.

"No, no, no, no. This is yours. You're going to have the solo for this number." Mr. Schuester stated, hovered beside them when he noticed Grace looking around to try and hand off the paper again. "I have copies."

"This sucks." Grace mumbled under her breath, rolling her eyes at their teacher's mischievous grin.

"I'm sorry, there must be some sort of mix up. I thought I made it very clear that anything from West Side Story goes to me. Maria is my part! Natalie Wood was a jew, you know. I've had a very deep personal connection to this role since the age of one." Rachel protested, as Grace frowned and leaned towards her friend.

"She's not a jew?" She whispered, rolling her eyes again when Rachel shot her a look. "Whatever. Be wrong."

"Well, I'm trying to shake things up a bit." Mr. Schuester said, not budging on the subject, much to Grace's annoyance. "Get us out of our boxes."

"You're trying to punish me." Rachel said, shaking her head with a small scoff.

"My box is cozy." Grace grumbled, as Mercedes shot her niece a quick look, one that received a silent whine facial expression in return.
