Grace dragged her feet down the stairs after the tenth knock on her aunt's apartment door. Mercedes was at the studio, and Arianna was teaching most of the day, so she was left alone to pack for her trip before Raegan finished with her classes.

"I'm coming!" Grace called down the stairs, taking a second once she reached the bottom to fight the wave of nausea that hit her. "Oh, shit."

She clutched the railing and lowered herself down to sit on the steps, eyes closed through the dizziness wafting around her. Grace glanced up when the knocking echoed again, rubbing her temples.

"It's unlocked! Just come in!" She yelled, dropping her head into one of her hands and clutching the railing above her head for support. "Querido dios, deja de girar."

The door eased open and quickly opened further when the visitor spotted Grace hanging her head on the stairs.

"Hey, hey, are you okay?" Quinn slipped to the floor and took Grace's face. "Are you okay? Are you sick?"

"Quinn?" Grace frowned deeply as the woman pulled her head up to look at her eyes. "What the hell are you doing here? Is Lilly okay? The kids?"

"I...I don't know why. Everyone's fine, just, uh, you and...I needed to see you." Quinn rubbed her girlfriend's cheek. "It doesn't matter. You're really warm. Are you okay?"

"I've been worried sick you're corrupting my children," Grace mumbled, looking over Quinn's face before pulling her forward. She closed her eyes and hugged the woman's neck tightly. "You shouldn't be here. We still have two weeks."

"Just accept my love," Quinn whispered, pulling Grace closer to her. "Don't act like you don't miss me."

Grace rolled her eyes and leaned back, shoving Quinn lightly with a stern look. "You agreed to do what the therapist wanted to help us. Why are you here?"

"Are you–"

"Don't act concerned about me to hide the fact you're not supposed to be in this state." Grace blinked frantically and helped herself up, holding the banister. "I'm still upset with you. You may be working on your relationship with our kids, but you and I are not on the same page."

"I know that." Quinn followed Grace up the stairs. "So, I want to go on this retreat with you and Raegan."

"Ohhhh." Grace turned around and laughed, stopping a few steps up where she was above Quinn. "No. You're not ruining this retreat. If you don't want me to go, just tell me. Communicate with me. Tell me how you feel, Fabray."
