A/N: Who's here?

Sorry for any mistakes!

(Added song that I imagined would play underneath in some of Lilith's moments, along with others...playlist coming soon!)

LILITH, composed by Peter Gundry.

XXXX

Lilith shuffled down the hallway toward her class with her dragon's hand in hers and her backpack over her shoulders. She could hear her helmet brushing against her jacket, but that was hardly the most annoying thing in this hallway.

There were kids watching her. She could see their eyes. Feel their eyes. People liked to read her like people liked to read her Momma's books. People liked to watch her like people liked to watch her Mom dance. People liked to speak to her like people liked to speak to her Daddy.

People liked to hurt her like people liked to hurt her Mommy.

"Why do you walk like that?" Peter asked, standing in the doorway of her classroom.

Lilith took a small step back from the dark haired boy and stared. She blinked a few times as she shuffled in place. Her eyes darted between the other students that were slipping into the first grade classroom to go find their spots.

"Like a penguin." Peter continued, tilting his head and squinting. He leaned forward and tried to see through the helmet, but Lilith stepped back. "Why are you hiding? Why do you have a hat? Why do you..."

"Ask for space like Mommy said." Three eyed Peter, brows pulled together.

Lilith ducked her head and whispered quietly, "...I need space."

"Huh?" Peter stepped forward closer to Lilith. "Why don't you ever talk? Why—"

"Push him!" Five hissed, appearing at her side. "Hit him!"

"No." Three shook her head, standing on their other side. "Ask for space!"

"I need space!" Lilith cried out, back pedaling from the boy. She looked around and whined when she noticed one of their teachers in the distance.

"Why are you like that?" Peter giggled, reaching over and shoving Lilith's shoulder lightly. "Are you a robot? A dumb robot!"

"... want 'pace." Lilith grumbled, ducking her head and tensing when Peter pushed her shoulder again.

"Pete! Lilly!" Miss Mazie, their student teacher, called from the front of their classroom, close enough to see the two children hovering in the doorway. "Let's come inside and get seated. Lilly, Miss Leah will be right back to sit with you."

Three growled at Peter when he snickered at Lilith and ignored their teacher. She shuffled closer to the blonde as Peter stepped forward again and poked her helmet.

"Is there a brain in there?" He asked, giggling. "Or you have no brain?"

"Your Momma said oxygen takes away the brain's ability to work." Five smirked, as Lilith's eyes darkened.

"Lilly." Three warned the girl.

Five giggled. "Kill him."

The three-year-olds chest heaved up and down as she stared at Peter. She growled quietly, then again louder when Peter continued to laugh without any regard for the spinning world around them. Her ears began to ring and the sound of his laughter and the school bell disappeared.
