"Fondue for Two! Hey! Fondue for Two! That's some hot dish! Fondue for Two!"
The camera opened up on Brittany as she spun around in her chair, ignoring the three adult cats attacking each other in the background while Lord Tubbington slept and Simba looked over them as if he would shove them any second to their death on the floor.
"Welcome back to Fondue for Two," Brittany announced, smiling at the camera as she held a wide-eyed-looking Wiley in her lap. "As you know, we've been on hiatus for a while, but I am back and ready to start up the newest season by interviewing my co-host, Gracelynn Pierce. My ex-girlfriend, mother of our eleven children and five cats, star of Little Monsters, the cover of January's Teen Pop of the East, and rising artist."
"Grace and Pierce." Grace corrected, narrowing her eyes a bit when Brittany turned her chair toward her ex-girlfriend and their son with an innocent smile. She awkwardly waved at the camera, dipping watermelon in the cheese in front of her. "And you all know ex-president of Mckinley, Brittany Pierce."
"And Pierce Junior," Brittany smirked. "He's named after me. Pierce...Pierce 'cause I'm his mom...not Hudson."
"I have a son named Finnegan."
"And Lucania." Brittany hummed, taking a quick side-eyed look to Grace. "AKA dead name of our shared lover."
"Ex-lover. AKA Quinn, Santana, and you."
"That roster will have additions and subtractions soon."
There was silence between them both as the camera moved to Grace, who narrowed her eyes suspiciously at Brittany's innocent smile. The camera turned to Pierce and then to Wiley, both babies having equally awkward reactions to their parent's tense interaction.
"So, is it true you spent six hours waiting in line with Marley, Camila, Alexa, Raegan, and Kitty Wilde to see The Hunger Games?"
"Yeah." Grace nodded her head with a small smile, fixing Pierce's pacifier. "I just love those books, and Marley, Camila, and Alexa were going, so we all went together...with Kitty and Raegan. I think they were trying to hide that they liked it."
"So, do you think that you relate to the Hunger games because you too will be starving once you move in with Finn?"
Grace blinked.
Then blinked again.
The camera panned back and forth between them both, then to the babies as they looked wide-eyed randomly around the room. Even the cats seemed to stop what they were doing to send the camera looks to fill the loud silence.
