No One's POV

Toga tried to get Izuku but she could never get close enough. Every time she got even remotely close to Izuku, he would be passed to a different person. They were essentially playing hot potato with a child.

Toga was now chasing Sero. With Sero swinging around like a monkey, he was practically impossible to catch. 

While Toga was running after Sero and Izuku, Dabi showed up and made a dome of fire around Sero. Dabi ran in through the flames to get Izuku. In the flames, Sero was on the ground trying to protect himself from the fire. He already had burns on his face. He was making sure Izuku kept down so the fire wouldn't burn him. 

Dabi simply walked up to Sero and took Izuku from him. Dabi took off his leather jacket and put it over Izuku, making sure most of his head was covered. He held Izuku's head close to his chest and ran through the flames.

When Dabi made it out of the flames he gave Izuku one single kiss on the forehead and handed him over to Toga. Toga proceeded to hug Izuku probably tighter than she should of.

"We should probably get Izuku to Kirogiri before another hero gets him. Kirogiri already has that girl you wanted." Dabi said. Dabi had Toga walk in front of him so he could see if anyone was trying to get Izuku.

Kirogiri's POV

Dabi, Toga, and Izuku made their way across the cafeteria to me and Eri. I was easily fending off students while holding onto Eri.  Toga ran up to us.

"Hi, Toga," Eri said.

Toga smiled at her. "Hi, Eri, are you ready to come home with us?" Eri nodded.

Toga looked up at me. "Take these two home." Toga handed Izuku to me. I smiled at Izuku and gave him a small hug. I was about to create a portal when a spike of ice came rushing toward me and impaled me in the chest.

The spike impaling my chest sent me back and I hit my head on the wall. Blood was oozing from my head and chest. 

I looked up to see three Ice spikes breaking through the ceiling, making it crumble and fall towards me. All of this looked so... familiar. Suddenly, a flood of memories came rushing into my head. That was when the rubble hit me and I blacked out.

Dabi's POV

Toga and I went running towards the rubble. Spinner, who was close and saw what had happened, also came running towards the rubble. The three of us dug through the rubble for what seemed like forever. Eventually, Spinner was able to pull Izuku and Eri out of the rubble. Eri and Izuku were fine apart from a few scratches and bruises, but there was still no sign of Kirogiri. 

After a while, I left to try and figure out why Todoroki had used his ice to try and kill some children. What I found wasn't what I was expecting, though.

Todoroki was kneeling on the ground, screaming in agony. Half of his body was consumed by burns, the other half by frostbite. Ice and fire were being shot out in weird waves. 

I backed up when a wave of ice and fire came rushing toward me. The fire and ice retreated back and seemed to glitch away.

No, this wasn't normal.

This was a quirk malfunction.
