Just a dysfunctional Family

(Time skip: it's the next day. Mr. Compress explained what happened with Toga and since they had a meeting to discuss any updates on Izuku's whereabouts they decided to discuss it at the meeting.)

Mr. Compress's POV 

The entire league was gathered in the living room of my apartment. They had the news playing in the background in case something useful was mentioned.

I think we were talking about Izuku, but I couldn't tell. Yesterday was still racing threw my mind. Was there anything different I could've done? Was there anything I could've done to make sure Toga escaped with me?

I was pulled back to reality when I heard Dabi mention Toga. I sprang up from my slouched position. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Mastermind do the same thing.

Dabi told the story of Toga and I falling for the Pros trap and Toga getting captured. The room was silent until Twice spoke up.

"Why do we need to have a special discussion about this? It's just a normal rescue mission." Twice said. Shigaraki sighed.

"That's where you're wrong. You see, if any of us were to be caught, we'd be sentenced to death for our crimes, and something could've gone down after Mr. Compress left, so as much as it pains me to think about, we first have to figure out whether or not she's alive." Shigaraki said, tears threatening to flow from his eyes.

My mind wasn't as blurred as when we talked about Izuku, but I was still spacing out a lot, and it seemed like I wasn't the only one. Even through his mask, I could still tell Mastermind wasn't really paying attention.

The league was debating whether or not Toga was dead. Some of their theories actually made sense but others, not so much. 

I was about to join the conversation when I saw that Mastermind was breathing very heavily. I was about to ask what was wrong when he spoke in a shaky voice.

"Well, I've got the answer to the Toga question." He pointed his shaky finger to the television. We all turned to the news reporter as she answered our question and left us all heartbroken.

"The villain Toga has officially been pronounced dead."

Sorry it's so short. I got a really good idea for the book and I had to get this part out quickly so I could work on it since this chapter has a pretty big impact on my idea. I also wanted to say that I'm going back to school at the end of the month and when I do go back there are probably gonna be even fewer updates. Also, what should I call you guys? That's all! Bye!
