y/n pulled his hood over his head as he softly opened the door of his hotel room. the hallway was bright in contrast to the dark room he was leaving. he double tapped his phone to wake it up, seeing the time read 12:56am, as well as seeing a message from his boyfriend saying he was already outside.
haechan, taeil, and jungwoo were inside cozy on one of the beds as the conjuring 2 played on the tv. seeing all of their eyes glued to the illuminated screen, y/n closed the door gently behind him to disturb them as little as possible. he made his way down the elevator and to the lobby, exiting the building to see his tall partner a little ways away who was pacing around slowly in waiting.
y/n's lips curved into a smile at only the sight of him, admiring his strong facial features and half tied up hair.
"omg, do you have a boyfriend?! cause you're like, so hot." he said playfully, making the male's head turn quickly to see him. yuta snickered and tilted his head.
"sorry, i'm happily in a relationship. we might as well be married." he answered with a dramatic tone. y/n laughed softly as yuta slid his hands around the other's waist and gently pressed their lips together.
"so what're we doing tonight?.. morning?.. whatever." y/n asked with a huff. yuta smiled and took his hand as they began walking away from the hotel.
"i dunno. it's your hometown, show me your favorite places, bub."
y/n looked away in thought for a moment.
"i'll take you to a cat café and a bookstore tomorrow since they're closed already. for now, we can go to one of the bars i used to go to?" he suggested. yuta nodded and smiled fondly, swinging their hands lightly as they walked.
the night sky was clear and the temperature was perfect, y/n looking at the city lights and scenery. yuta's eyes, however, were hooked on his boyfriend. he watched as y/n took in the environment around him and felt right at home.
eventually, the two finally arrived at the bar. it was smaller than yuta had imagined, it seemed almost cozy. y/n led him inside by their still connected hands, another smile engraving itself on his face.
the chatter of people talking combined with the soft music filled the couple's ears. yuta could see the small pride flags of different colors and patterns scattered here and there. two in particular were on either side of a cash register by the bar counter - a rainbow one and a blue, pink, and white one.
y/n dragged him off to a small booth in the corner that he'd occupied many times in the past.
"what do you think?" he asked excitedly. yuta looked at him with a bright smile and nodded.
