Chapter 4

When I knock on his door I hear him running. The door opens and the first thing I see is a big smile. "Hi Sky, come in. Don't look at the mess please."

"Do you think that my room is less messy? Max lives in it as well, he is even messier than you."

"I'll take that as a compliment, what film do you want to watch?"

I get a bit nervous, is it weird that I like Cars, what if he laughs at me for my choice?

He sees that I'm nervous and hugs me. "Hey, it's okay, I don't care what you're going to say, even if you want to watch Teletubbies."

"I'm not that weird, I would like to watch Cars."

"I knew it, you look like a Cars person. Well Cars it is then. Couch or bed?"

"What is more comfortable?"

"I prefer bed but it's your choice."

"The bed is indeed more comfortable."

"Then we're going to watch Cars on my bed."

I must've fallen asleep during the movie because I wake up from Pierre's voice. "Sky, I know you're tired and I don't want to let you go but Max will get angry if you stay." He shakes his shoulder, and with that also my head. "Come on Sky, I know you're awake."

"Hmmm, I don't want to."

"Do you want me to walk with you?"

"I think Max will appreciate it."

At the door he hugs me. "Bye Sky, I have one thing to say." He points at my arms, hugs me again and whispers in my ear: "I saw your arms, if you want to talk about it, I'm always available and if you don't want that it's okay."

I hug him back and almost start crying. "Thanks, but I don't think I'm ready yet."

"That's okay, I'll probably see you tomorrow, bye."

"Bye Pierre, thanks for inviting me."

"You know, you're always welcome."

Fuck. Double fuck. He saw them. My arms. My sleeves must have rolled up in my sleep or something. I think he knows what I did, but I'm obviously not going to tell him. Only Lando, Charles and Max know it. But I'm sure they're not going to tell Pierre.

WEDNESDAY

I wake up really late at 11 am. Max left to do some work or something and he left a note on the kitchen counter saying that he left. I take a quick shower and when I eat at 12 I get a message from max.

*Up for a movie night tonight?*

*Depends on the people.*

*Just the regular. Lando, Alex, Charles, Danny. Maybe Carlos will be there as well but I'll have to ask. You can invite Pierre if you want.*

*Sounds fun.*

*Okay, you message them, I'll get the snacks.*

*You'll have to invite Carlos, I don't have his number.*

*Fine, but you are going to do the rest.*

I message them and everybody likes it. Pierre asks me if he can come and help me set it up because Max is home last minute so otherwise I have to do it on my own.

When I open the door I see Pierre with some snacks. He helps me moving the table and the couch. I'm in the kitchen when I feel my phone buzzing in my pocket.
