Just friends?

Chapter 6

"Of course, if you tell me where." I pick her up and she points out the way.

"I'm sorry, you can't stay, Max will kill us both."

"It's okay Sky, I'll see you tomorrow."

"Bye Pierre, see you tomorrow."

When I'm at my room I remember that my hoodie is still on Max's couch. I'll pick it up tomorrow.

SKY POV, THURSDAY

I wake up from my brother shaking my arm. "Sky, do you want to come with me, I think that's the best option."

"No Max, I don't want the attention, you know that."

"It's today or tomorrow Sky, if we do it now it's over. We'll find a way to do it without too many questions. Lando is there, Alex, Charles, Danny and Pierre are there too, you can do it."

"Hm, okay then. But only if you stay with me."

"Of course, I'm not letting you do this alone. I know the media."

I get out of bed and change. For today an oversized orange hoodie with black leggings. When I walk out of my room I see Lando, Alex and Pierre sitting on the couch. Max is in the kitchen. I walk to him. "Why are they here Max?"

"Oh hey Sky, I thought it would be nice for you to have some support."

"Thank you Max, I really appreciate it." I walk to the boys.

When Lando notices me he jumps up and hugs me. "Good morning Sky, ready for today?"

"Not really, today is not the best day to be alive."

Alex and Pierre also hug me. "Come on Sky, you can do this. We're here to support you. Charles and Danny are also in the paddock, but the car was full and they had to be early anyway."

In the car Alex and Max sit in the front and I sit between Lando and Pierre. The closer we get the more nervous I get. Pierre and Lando see it and they both take one hand.

"Sky, it's going to be fine. Pierre and I will walk you through the gates and Max will then do the interviews he has to do, but with you so that he can introduce you. No one can hurt you there okay?"

I let my head rest on Lando and Pierre starts stroking my hand. "It's going to be okay Sky, believe me."

When we're there Max parks the car and we all step out. I have sunglasses and a cap from Max but there are still many journalists that want to know who I am. 

The boys make a circle around me. Alex in front of me, Max and Lando on both sides and Pierre behind. It's not the best protection but at least people can't reach me.

In the paddock they walk next to me, like a boyband. When I see Daniel I run to him. He has his back to me so when I push him he jumps. "Fucking hell Sky, please never do this ever again."

"I don't know, we'll see."

Then I see that he was talking to someone I don't know and I get a little nervous. "Hi, I'm Sky Verstappen, Max his sister."

A/N: There will be another part later today, to make up for the fact that I can't upload tomorrow. I'll do this every Saturday(:
