Chapter 37

"I would accept that, and leave to Milan with the first plane that goes. And I would cry for days."

I hug him. "Fortunately for you I do love you, so you don't have to go."

"I may be going too fast right now, but what about a third date?"

"Yes!"

"No is also-"

"An answer, yes I know, but I want it."

"Okay, Saturday?"

"Yeah that sounds alright." I hug Pierre tight. "I'm already looking forward to it."

"Oh I like that. Should we go back? I believe Max wants to fly quite early."

"Max always wants to fly early because you can wake up and sleep further on the plane, as he says."

"That sounds like Max."

"Because it is Max."

He laughs. "Yeah duh."

THURSDAY

"Sky, come on, you have to get out, you can sleep further on the plane."

"Max shut up."

I hear Pierre laughing and I open my eyes. "Are you laughing at my brother?"

"Yes miss."

"You know that there's a punishment for that."

"I don't but okay. What's that punishment?"

"You have to kiss me."

Max turns around. "You guys will be fine. I want to leave in 45 minutes!"

I hear Lando laughing. "What made you run out of that room?"

"Pierre and Sky."

"Ooohh I want to see."

Pierre rolls over to my side, his lips hovering over mine. "If he wants to see us, he gets to see us."

I nod, unfocused on his words.

Pierre puts his hands around my head and puts his lips on mine. I kiss him back, and I let my fingers run through his hair. Pierre rolls over, and he drags me with him, so that I lay on top.

"Ahem, what are you doing?"

Pierre doesn't say anything, he can't. He only waves Lando away with his hand.

"Oh I'll happily leave." He turns around.

Pierre breaks the kiss, and he laughs. "Punishment completed?"

"No."

He gives me a quick kiss. "I hope that this will do, we have to leave."

I change, and grab my suitcase that's still packed. "I'm ready."

We walk to the living room, where Lando looks like he saw a ghost. "What's wrong Lan, are you okay?"

Max laughs, and Lando looks in disgust at me. "You ask if everything is okay? I should ask you."

I mess his hair up. "You walked in." I whisper in his ear: "Please don't tell everyone."

The bell rings. "That will be someone." Max opens the door and I hear Charles, Charlotte, Alex and Lily.

When they walk into the living room they start to laugh. "What happened here guys?"

Lando looks at Alex. "No it's not funny. There was a dead mouse in one of the cupboards."

"But he wanted to see it."

"You're a bunch of idiots you know that."

"You too Charles."

"Who are we waiting for?"

"Danny.'"

"Of course, I could've known." I look at Pierre. "Daniel is always late."

Lando hits my shin. "You are also always late."

"But today I have my personal clock", and I put my arm around Pierre.

We hear a knock on the door. "That would be Dan, I'll get it." Lando walks away and we all laugh.

"Lando doesn't fancy romance huh?"

"Too young I guess."
