Chapter 12

SKY POV

There he is. He looks worried. He sits next to me and puts his hand on my knee. "Do you want to tell me why you're not feeling well?"

"Just the media. The feeling of being watched 24/7, the feeling that they follow you, in every step you take. Like yesterday. A boy hugging a girl? They're in a relationship. They want to know everything about you, everything you know about yourself, they want to know."

"I know that feeling, it's indeed horrible. But they will leave you alone as time passes by. Is there anything I can do for you?"

"If you can make clear that I really don't have a boyfriend, I would be really happy."

"I will, but I have FP1 coming up so I need to go."

"Is it okay if I go and wish my friends good luck?"

"Of course, go where you want to go, as long as you will be at the hotel tonight."

"Thanks, bye, good luck." And with that I'm leaving to wish Lando, Daniel, Charles, Pierre and Alex good luck.

When I walk back I walk past Mercedes, and I see George. Should I? Yeah, fuck it.

"Good luck George, also with FP2." He looks up and smiles at me.

"Thanks. Wish Max good luck from me back."

"I will."

During FP1 I come up with an idea. Dinner, with me, Max, Lando, Daniel, Charles, Pierre, Alex and George.

Because I want to learn George better, he looks like a nice guy, but not on my own. Tomorrow evening is a good time I think. I'll message them with the time and the address.

PIERRE POV

After FP1 I go and look for Charles, who I find walking around. "Charles, can you keep a secret?"

"Yes, what do you want to tell me."

"So I met this girl, a couple days ago, and I think I'm in love with her. She is absolutely beautiful and has a strong will. But I'm scared that she is in love with someone else."

"Before I can help you, who is that girl and the 'someone else'?"

"Sky."

"Sky Verstappen?!"

"Yes."

"You're in love with Max's sister?!"

"Yehes, but I'm scared that she's in love with Lando."

"Did you tell her how you feel about her?"

"No, but I don't want to tell her, not this weekend. She has enough pressure on her from the media and all the people here. But she told the media that she and Lando both don't have feelings for each other. 

And yesterday I told myself that if they have, so be it and that I wanted sky to be happy, and I still want that, but I... It's just..."

"You want her to be happy with you, rather than with Lando."

"Exactly, but if she is happy with..."

"Stop Pierre, they were telling the truth to the media. As long as I've known Sky, she and Lando were 2 goofballs. And that they talked about it, I've seen them talk. So don't worry, she definitely likes you."

"Really?"

"Yes, didn't you notice how fast she trusted you, and the difference with George."

"Yes,I... Oh hey Sky."
