FRIDAY

"Do you want me to send someone from my team to give you some company?"

"No, there's no need to, I'll be asleep for most of the day."

The headache only got worse and I'm feeling a bit nauseous.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes Pierre, I'm sure."

"I don't want to leave you alone, but I really have to go."

I open my arms and give him a hug. "I'll be fine, go get them and be safe."

"Of course, I I'll be back as soon as possible."

"Bye." He waves and closes the hotel door. 2 minutes later he opens it again. "Forgot the car keys."

"Idiot."

I watch FP1 and FP2 on my phone, and I fall asleep, but I wake up from Pierre's voice. Confused and half asleep I look around, only to notice that Pierre is giving his last interview.

"Do you know where Sky Verstappen is? I haven't seen her today."

Wtf, why do they care? Why are they asking Pierre and not Max?

Pierre seems as confused as I am. "Why are you asking me and not Max?"

"I'll ask him, but I thought that maybe you knew."

"No, you're not going to ask Max, this is a private situation and none of your business." Pierre gets a little angry now, and I'm cheering him on through the screen. "And to answer your question, no, I have no idea. And if I knew, I wouldn't tell you. I know that Max would say the same, so there's no point in asking him."

"Okay, bye Pierre."

He walks away without saying anything.

I sit on the table, my feet on a chair, eating something when Pierre knocks on the door. "Sky, can you open the door or not?"

Why do I have to open, he has a key himself right? Maybe he lost it, I can see that happening. I open the door. "Of course I can."

Pierre is carrying a big bouquet of flowers. We walk to the living room. "Here, they are for you."

"For me? What did I do to deserve that?"

"Nothing, just being here and being my girlfriend is enough."

I give him a big and tight hug. "Thank you so much, you really didn't have to."

"But I want to, you deserve it. How are you feeling?"

"Kind of good, actually. I slept a lot. But I saw your interview. Thanks for not answering the question."

"Why would I, it's none of their business. Above all, they only know you as Max's sister."

"If you put the flowers in water I'll finish my food."

"Alright, how do you do this."

I give him a knife. "First you cut them all in an angle, then you grab a vase, fill it with water, you put the flowers in and you're done."

"Easy."

It wasn't easy, I basically did it and Pierre looked but that's fine. We're watching a movie now so everything worked. "How was your day Pierre?"

"I drove around, and around, and around, and I had stupid interviews. That's it."

"Hmmm, interesting."

"Actually, I have another present for you." He gives me a little box, wrapped in paper. "I don't know if you like it."
