Chapter 17

Obviously I walked to Sky, and I'm so happy she was okay with it. After 2 seconds Max and George interrupted, but I could do this forever.

And then my mood changed again, because I asked if George had a crush, as he is still single. AND HE LOOKED AT FUCKING SKY. Why did he do that? I was so annoyed, but I think I managed to keep it in, and I don't know if Sky saw it.

Sky zoned out, and we tried to get her back. Daniel even requested to put a spaghetti noodle in her nose. When Max said she was on cloud 9 she became a tomato. Was she thinking about our kiss?

Of course Danny made a big deal out of it, which apparently made George really angry. At least that's what I think, considering he looked at Sky during my truth.

"Hello? Someone there?" Charles waves his free hand in front of me.

I decided to ride back with him, and he's driving. "Oh yes, why?"

"Where were you with your thoughts?"

I explain everything to him, even how I felt when we kissed. "Charles, can you do me a favor, and get some information about George and Sky? He looked at her the entire time."

"I don't know what George feels, but Sky is not in love with him."

"And why wouldn't she?

"She doesn't look at him like that. Her eyes don't sparkle as much as they do when she sees you."

"Maybe, but please fish around a bit."

"Don't worry, I'll send Alex on a mission."

"Thank you so much."

We arrive at the hotel and I decide to go to Sky for a couple minutes to thank her. When I knock on her door I hear a loud scream. "COMING!"

A minute later the door opens and there stands Sky. My hoodie, somehow my sweatpants and a messy bun. "Oh hey Pierre, come in. Max stays with Kelly, she isn't feeling good."

I walk in and sit on the couch. "I actually came to thank you for tonight, I really enjoyed it."

I see her eyes wondering to my lips. Fucking hell, she is having flashbacks. Really wasn't expecting that.

"I should thank you for coming. Without you it wouldn't be fun."

I blush. "I'm not that funny."

She playfully kicks my shin. "Don't ever say that again. But thank you for coming, I want to go to sleep if that's okay."

"Yeah sure."

"Bye, see you tomorrow."

I stand in front of my hotel room. Shit. I forgot the key. What now? Charlotte is with Charles, so I can't go there. Lando is asleep, Alex is with Lily.

There's only one person left, and that's Sky. But Max is not going to like it. I message her.

*Heyy, I forgot my room key, can I sleep on your couch?*

*Ofc, any time. (When Max is not here ;)*

I laugh, and make my way over to Sky again.

When I knock on her door she opens right away, only to walk away to the couch, almost dying under the weight of blankets. "For if you get cold", she explains, handing them over to me.

"Thanks, goodnight."

"Goodnight Pierre."
