Chapter 47

Daniel gets really serious. "What do you mean?"

Pierre laughs. "Calm down Dan, it's not that big. Or maybe it is, but that's up to you."

"What is it then?"

"Not so impatient Alex. But I'll tell you." He removes his hand from mine and puts it around my waist.

Daniel looks at him with big eyes. "Noooooo. Really?"

"I don't know what you're thinking, but I wanted to say that I'm glad to call this little star mine." He pulls me closer, and starts kissing me, while everybody is cheering us on.

I break the kiss because Max wants to hug me. "Congratulations, since when?"

"Yesterday."

"Wow, so that's where you went?"

"I didn't know until we got there okay, don't blame me."

"Who knew?"

"I told Lando, and Pierre told Charles because he helped to set it up and deserved to know."

He pouts. "I thought you were going to tell me first."

"Max come on, you're not a baby. I'll tell you next time."

"Which next time?" I hear behind me.

Max laughs. "Yeah, I hope there isn't going to be a next time, because that would mean you broke up."

"You know what I mean Max."

"Maybe, but we have to leave for dinner now."

At the dinner we sit next to each other, and Pierre holds my hand almost the entire time, which goes better than you think, because I'm left and Pierre is right handed.

I see Lando mumbling something to Alex. Alex nods, looks over to us and waves to me. "What's funny?"

"Nothing, but you two are really cute."

I blush. "Thanks I guess."

Pierre squeezes my hand. "I can be romantic from time to time."

"What are we doing to do when we come back?"

"Movie night?"

"Max, that is the best idea you've had in a long time."

We drive back, some people change and we all gather on the couch. I sit down on Pierre's lap again, because when I don't it gets a little cramped and I like it. I give Pierre a little kiss.

"Ieuw."

"What's wrong Lan?"

"We know that you are a couple, but you don't have to remind us every minute."

"Why not?"

"I think it's gross."

"You're too young to understand Lan, you have to mature."

"I don't want to mature, I'm happy where I am."

"Okay then, little baby."

"What did you say?" He starts tickling me.

"Nothing." I try to escape but Pierre is holding me very tight. "Pierre let me go."

"Take it back."

"What?"

"That I'm a baby."

"Here, you said it yourself."

"Take it back."

"But it's the truth."

"I won't stop before you say it."

"Okay I take it back."

Max starts the movie, Pierre wraps my arms around me and I feel myself drifting off to the land of dreams.

"Ah! Lando! What the fuck was that?" Lando is almost dying from laughter. "No it's not funny, you woke me up. Pierre, say something."

"Lando..." Is everything he manages to get out, before bursting into laughter.

Lando finally gets his breath back. "We thought it would be funny to pinch your toe and see what happens."

"We?"
