Chapter 11

"In his room, not with him. But I swear, if you tell Max, I will kill you, just before Max kills me. How much did he hear?"

"Ehmm."

"Everything, didn't he?"

"Yeah, he did. But he liked it, I saw that."

Now it's my time to be surprised. "No he didn't. He's just a good friend."

"Trust me Sky, he did. Now come with me, before you change your mind."

Still in my thoughts I follow him. "Yeah, change my mind."

"Huh, where are you talking about?"

I zone back in. "What?"

Lando shakes his head. "Doesn't matter for now. But hurry, I'm late."

"As always."

Entering the paddock a lot of people want to ask me questions. If I really am Max's sister and not his new girlfriend, if I have a relationship with any driver, why I spend so much time with Lando and so on, but Lando puts his arm around me and leads me to the gates where he lets go of me.

I look at him. "Can I go to..."

"Of course, go your own way."

"I didn't get to finish but thanks, I'll go to Max, bye!"

On my way to the Red Bull hospitality George comes up to me again. "Hey Sky, I was wondering..."

"No."

"Okayy, may I ask why you don't want to spend time with me?"

"Because I don't know you. I hope for you that someone told you about me, otherwise you'll have to ask Lando or something, now excuse me, I have to go in here, bye and good luck."

"Okay, bye I guess."

Yeah, that was a bit rude. I really hope that Daniel or someone else has explained my lack of socialism to him, because it's not that I hate him, I just don't know him. 

We can do a movie night, and invite him as well, or dinner, but I don't want to hang out with him on my own.

In my thoughts I bump into Max. "Look out asshole!"

I didn't know that it was Max until I hear his voice.

"What's wrong Sky?"

"Max?! I'm so sorry. But there is nothing wrong, I just didn't have a good night."

"No, there is more. And you are going to tell me. Here is the key to my room, I'll be there in 5 minutes."

PIERRE POV

Max runs up to me, with a worried face. Did he find out about tonight? Did someone die? "What's wrong?"

"Sky."

"Sky what? Where is she, I want to see her, now."

"No, she is in my driver room, if everything is okay but you're not getting to see her. I'm going to talk with her, she looks like she's going to kill herself. But I came here to ask you if you know what's wrong with her."

"I have absolutely no idea, last night everything looked fine."

"LAST NIGHT?!"

"Yes ehm, no ehm, I mean evening."

"You're the worst liar Gasly. I'm going back to Sky, but we'll talk about this later, okay?"

"I guess I have no choice. But be nice to Sky, she doesn't need an angry brother."

"You're right, I will, bye."
