Just friends?

Chapter 63

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKY!"

Everybody is there, Lando, Max, Lando, Alex, Daniel, George, Eva, and Julie. Alex, Charles and Max are with Lily, Charlotte and Kelly.

"What?" I look at my lock screen to see the date. "Oh it's my birthday today?" I start to cry. "Is it really my birthday?"

Pierre hugs me. "Yes, it really is, what's wrong?"

"Last December I think that it was, or maybe November, I didn't want to be on this planet anymore, but I promised myself that I would make it to my birthday, and now it's my birthday, and I'm still here."

"Hey, it's fine, I'm proud of you that you're still here, and that you're better now."

I give him a little kiss. "Thank you so much for being there for me when I was down, or when I didn't want to continue."

"That's what friends do right"

Alex gives me a present first. "It's a golf set. So that you can practice with us, you wanted to but you didn't have one, so now you can."

Charles gives me my favorite perfume, George a new cap that I've wanted for too long now. Lando gives me a little Christmas tree.

I look at him. "Why a Christmas tree?"

"You like Christmas so it's pretty obvious."

"Dude it's September."

"So what, it's always time for Christmas, as you always say."

Julie gives me a little card. "It's a year free swimming in Monaco, for two people."

I hug her. "You're the best."

Eva has a color book. "It can make you calm down when you're stressed."

Lando comes with a present once again. "This is from me, Charles, Alex and George."

"Oh that's something to be scared of."

"Don't be like that."

I open it, and it's a bucket hat and a blanket covered with Pierre's face, and a hoodie and sweatpants with mine, Lando's, Charles', Alex's and George's faces.

"Guys... Is this real?"

"Yep." Alex looks really proud of himself.

"You could've picked better picture at least."

"That would've ruined it."

Max has a picture frame with a photo of our little friend group. Me in the middle, and the boys around, from the time we went karting in summer break. "I also ordered a hoodie, but that didn't arrive on time."

I turn to Pierre, who stands creepily close behind me for a person I didn't notice. "I have something for you."

"Yeah, I hope for you that you do." We laugh.

He cups my face. "You won't get it until you kiss me."

Once again I didn't listen because I got lost in his eyes, I don't think I can get used to them, so I just nod.

Pierre lowers his hands to my waist and presses his lips on mine. "I love you Sky. I love you more." He grabs a little bag from behind him. "Here you go."

I look inside, and find a necklace with SV <3 PG, and a bracelet with the number 10. "No Pierre, this is way too much."

"There's even more." He looks like a proud dad right now.

I look deeper in the little bag, if that's possible and see another necklace with a butterfly.

I put it down on the table, jump into Pierre's arms and kiss him. "You did not have to do this, this is way too much. Bring at least one back."

"Oops, I lost the receipt."

"You little idiot."

He hands me a big and heavy thing. I unwrap it, and I see a big photo of me and Pierre.

"It's a photo book, it starts with photos from me and you when we were young and it's like a little timeline, to the point where we are now, and there are white pages so that we can continue."

"That's so cool, thank you."

"Oh yeah, before I forget, me, you and the boys are going on a three week trip to Australia in the winter break."

I almost drop the book, but I place it on the table quickly. "Noo, you're kidding me. To Australia?"

He nods. "Yes, I know that you've wanted to go there forever."

I jump in his arms once again. "I love you so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so much."

He pecks my lips. "I still love you more."

"No you don't."

And I kiss him, long and deeply with the cheering from everyone else.
