"What's going on," I asked. A soldier pulled out a piece of paper and held it up. It had somebody on it... it was me. "You've been killing our men since the beginning of the nuclear fallout. We've been looking for you for quite some time now. Surrender while you still have the chance to live." I looked over an saw Ella behind the line of men. She was shaking and crying and her lips were moving. I looked back at Samson and Denise and instanly knew what they were thinking. Samson quickly pulled out a smoke and pulled the pin. He tossed it towards the soldiers as we jumped to dodge fire. A cloud of smoke arose from the grenade and we made a hasty escape. We went back to the meeting point and gathered the rest of the group. "They have the entrance guarded with probably over 25 soldiers and there are more in the camp," I said. "We need to be conservative and careful when we do this," Samson said. "One false move and you'll be injured or even killed." I looked around at everyone. "Are you up for the challenge?," I asked. Everyone nodded in agreement. We got into our respective vehicles and took off towards the camp. As soon as the camp was insight, Tim opened fire from the chopper on the soldiers below. I watched as a few dropped and others scattered. I drove our truck straight through the fencing and went into the camp. Samson popped his upper body through the opening in the top of the truck and mounted the machine gun. He began opening fire on any soldier he could find. Bodies were dropping all around us, the dirt and grass soaked with blood. You could hear screams of pain and agony. I really liked the feeling, but I knew it was wrong. Maybe I was turning into a monster. I shook off my thoughts and continued driving until there was very minimal resistance. I drove over to Ella and grabbed her I could see Brayden's group taking out soldiers left and right. I heard a booming coming from the sky. Soon after rain was pouring. I could see the blood and water mix forming huge puddles. As I jumped out to grab Ella, I was grabbed from behind by a soldier. I stuggle to get free as he tried to slit my throat with a knife. I threw all my weight back and we landed in a huge pile of blood and water. The shock of the impact force him to let go and I rolled off. I beat him until he dropped the knife and shoved it through his throat. Blood spurted all over my clothes. The blood. The killing. The feeling of happiness from this. I really am becoming a monster. I stared down at the dead soldier and took the knife out of his throat. I let the rain clean it off and I returned to the truck. "Are you ok?," Denise asked. She could see the amount of blood on my clothes. I was silent. I didn't want to talk. I didn't want to think. I'm becoming just like the government pigs. A relentless, remorseless, killing machine. Someone who kills for fun and feels nothing for it other than satisfaction. I began to break down at the thought. Denise got out and helped Ella in. Riker had left his vehicle and taken the sole vehicle that was left untouched. He began to load prisoners into it. The rest of the group were gathering the prisoners into their own vehicles. We were able to get a majority of them out. We gave supplies to whomever we couldn't bring. After we finished loading up the prisoners, we began our journey home...

This is where my real struggle began. I was losing touch with myself. I liked killing. I wanted to see death around me. I was becoming just like one of them. On a lighter note, we began going around and liberating small camps and bringing home prisoners. Within a couple years of liberating camps, we had a small army...
