(This is present day now)

4 hours earlier...

We woke up around 2 PM to get ready for the operation. We called the operation "Operation Starting Line" as it was our first mission against the government. Tension was running high. Today it was do or die. If we failed, we'd be weakend in man power and morale. We'd be an easy target for the government to erase. Out of the around 800 troops that we now had, 600 were going on the mission. We kept about one fourth of the army back to protect civilians and supplies. Thanks to Tim, we now had 10 capable pilots. We had 6 transport helicopters and 4 attack helicopters. Each transport held about 50 people while the attack helicopters held a group of up to 6. Roughly 325 people would be airborne while the other roughly 275 people would be transported by armored trucks and tanks. We were going to throw everything we had at them. This was our chance to start an uprising in other areas of the nation. This was our chance to start the overthrow of the government. We went to the town park and had a quick debriefing before we headed out. I was going to be airborne in Tim's attack helicopter with Brayden and 4 other rebels. My squad consisted of me and 11 other rebels. We began to set out around 4. We'd arrive around 6. The ride there was almost silent, but was interrupted by something terrible. We heard a whizzing sound coming towards our helicopter. I listened closer and figured out what it was, but before I could do anything, it was too late. An explosion hit the chopper blade and caused them to break apart and seperate from the helicopter. This sent us spinning around in circles. We were low flying and didn't have much time to bail. I put on my parachute and helped others into theirs. I hadn't realized how close to the ground we were. I jumped out and only had about 50 feet to pull the parachute. I struggled to find the cord and barely got it out before I hit the ground. It helped make the fall easier on my body, but not much. I blacked out on impact. I opened to see my father standing in a green field of grass, staring at a bright yellow sunrise. I couldn't believe my eyes. I started to hear weird voices coming from the sky. They were telling me to wake up. I began to get dizzy and started to remember now. I must've died. This must be the afterlife. I kept hearing voices. I began to make out what they were saying. Wake up... You need to hurry... You'll get killed... I thought I was already dead. I was really dizzy and started blacking out off and on. I manage to get a few phrases out.

Wake up!

Father?

Wake up!

Is that you?

Please wake up!

I miss you so much...

We need to get moving!!!

After that last phrase, I blacked out.
