I awoke in panic. Samson was there yelling in my face to wake me up. I could barely hear his voice over the sound of explosions and gunfire. I got up as quickly as I possibly could, but I didn't make it far before falling over. I was very weak from the landing. I put my hand on my head and realized it was oozing blood. I ripped my shirt off and wrapped it around my head. I managed to crawl over to a tree and get cover. I found a dead soldier nearby and stole his weapon. I fired at the enemy. I saw bodies falling everywhere. I kept firing at the wall. A man that ran past my tree was hit and I was splattered with his blood. When I regained a little strength, I got up and began to move. I did my best to get as close as possible when a grenade exploded close to me, sending me flying. I blacked out again. When I woke up, I was in a dark room tied up. Where was I? A soldier of the governments army walked in and then I knew. I had been captured. He walked in to check on me to see if I was doing alright. "Can you hear me alright," he asked. "I can hear you," I mumbled. I was very dizzy and could barely process thoughts. "Your friends back there got us. They have the base, but we have something they don't. We have you Xavier. We know all about you." I glared at him. "Don't worry, we'll keep you nice and cozy. So relax and get comfortable. You aren't going anywhere until we get information out of you," he said with a smile. I spit and him and he smacked me in the face. The little power behind that slap was enough to cause me to black out yet again. I woke up sometime later in a jail cell...
