*Magnus's pov* 

Someone taps me gently and my eyes snap open and I jolt awake

"Come on Magnus! It's time to get of the ship!" 

Oh.Right.

I'm ready for what ever's coming to happen.

We arrive on a remote island with sky high mountains.The academy dominates the whole island.A water fountain is at the center and flowers of every colour imaginable dying on both sides.There are a bunch of white steps leading up to the academy.

"Welcome to the isle of vile!" 

I grab Emily's arm when I notice her trembling. 

"It's okay Em.Trust me." She nods and we go up the stairs,following Kravitz hand in hand.We follow her around what must be a dozen corridors turning either right or left a thousand times. 

"This is the faculty." 

Emily is trembling even more now and she's breathing shakily.I know she's trying to put on a brave face,but I'm just as scared as her.The room is shrouded in darkness and the lights turn on.The chairs are facing away from me making my heart race faster. 

"This is the new recruit, faculty."Kravitz bows and the chairs swivel around

"Well,well,well." The first faculty member's attire consists of a grey blazer and trousers,similar to Kravitz but wears an orange tie.His dirty blonde hair is slicked back and wears blue glasses

"What do we have here?"The second member of faculty has brunette hair in a beehive style.She has brown eyes and matching purple lipstick and eye shadow.Her earrings and pearl necklace are midnight blue.She has glasses as well.Her dress is coral and reaches all the way down to her ankles.

"Oooh~Yet another recruit!I can't wait to see what mayhem and destruction this one will cause...Oh.He's scrawny, I'm afraid." The third member of the faculty has a lion's mane as hair and purple highlights.His eyes are brown and has a cloak draped over his shoulders.

"Are you sure he's the right one Kravitz?He doesn't look like he has much potential."The first faculty member asks 

"Don't by fooled by his appearance:the youngest recruits have the most potential." The last faculty member is wearing a green hoodie and olive green overcoat.His chocolate brown hair is waist length and he has green highlights in them and blue glasses. 

"Oh yes!We haven't introduced ourselves how rude!"The third member of the faculty exclaims 

"Masato Kazami." The first one nods 

"Philomena Dusk." 

"Haavik!" 

"Calloway storm." 

"I assume you already met Kravitz,no?"Philomena asks and I nod. 

"You're the quiet one, aren't you?" 

I just blink in response

"Right.It's time to see if you meet our standards." 

"Of course I meet your standards!"I scoff 

"Don't get to cocky!Our standards are pretty high you know!" 

They first get me to run on a treadmill for half an hour while Emily watches with the faculty behind a glass wall.I run faster and faster,even though I feel like my legs are going to snap and my lungs are going to burst,I do it for her.
