Before the mission

Hello my fellow Bakugannies!I sincerely apologize for not updating in a while,I was busy.Anyway, here's an update(smut mentioning but no actual smut.)

*Dan's pov* 

"Tell Magnus I wish you guys good luck!" Riot exclaims

"Alright,thanks guys!" 

"Do us proud.I know you will.In the mean time,though,get together with Magnus!" Aay suggests with a wink 

"Magnus...?" I ask,scratching the back of my neck, sheepishly 

"Ah,just kidding.You guys don't like each other."Aay says 

"But-" says Riot 

Aay mouths something to Riot before they bothe laugh and Riot nods. 

"This whole class is so obsessed with romance.Don't listen to them, just focus on the mission." Crystal blue advises 

"Hey,Magnus!Ready?"I ask 

Magnus gives a curt nod in my direction "Come on," He says "Akio and Anzu are waiting." 

"Bye!"Riot,Aay and Kurin chorus.Crystal Blue smiles a little before nodding,so I nod back in response. Magnus shoves his hands in his pocket before signing,and brushing his long black bangs out his magenta eyes. 

"So...uh,this is it,I guess.We get to go on our own mission!" I exclaim 

Magnus kind of shrugs in response 

"I've done this before.I have not stolen major things,however." Magnus mumbles

"Pffft...you a thief?I can see that happening!And you being an overprotective big brother,of course.Hey Magnus,if you don't mind...ummm,can I meet Emily one day?" I ask 

"I'll think hard before letting my sister be tortured by you.The answer is...no." 

"Hey!"I whine 

"I was kidding,when all this is over,maybe." 

"Really?" 

"I won't make promises." Magnus sighs,shaking his head. 

"Outside world,here we come!" 

"The outside world will never be ready for you,Idiot."Magnus snarls before casting me a disgusted look. 

*Magnus's pov* 

"Emily." 

"M-Magnus?Big brother!How are you?Why haven't you called...I've been trying to contact you for so long.I was so worried about you!I'm just so glad to hear you voice..." You can hear her voice cracking,and the sorrow. 

"I've been busy.The doctors say you don't need stress.You shouldn't worry.I'm coming to see you." 

"W-what? When???" 

"Soon." I respond 

"Really?" 

"Yeah.Really Emily,I promise." 

"Bye,l-love you..." 

"Love you too."Hesistantly,my finger hovers over the button that would end the call.

"Hang up,Emily." 

"Bye!" 

"Emily." 

"Okay, I'll really hang up this time!See ya!" I groan before burrying my head in my heads.A lump rises in my throat.Emily deserves more than this.I need more time.She deserves so much more than phone calls every few months.When I can, I'm going to ditch the hell hole,and provide Emily with everything she could ever dream off,and more.I need to fetch that idiot Kouzo.
