First school year at V.I.L.E academy (Dan's POV)

Hi guys!Sorry for not updating,I was a bit busy.But here's the next chapter.

My eyes flutter open and golden beams of sunlights shine through the window and the tiny droplets of rain glow in the sunlight.Wait.Where's Magnus???No no no!Oh I bet it's not that bad,he just likes to get up early! I'm sure it's not a big deal.But just to be sure... I leap out of bed which leaves it in a mess.I frantically brush my teeth and rinse my mouth while trying to change out of my pajamas.But instead of being efficient,it only makes things worse!I end up getting toothpaste stains all other my pajamas and my tooth brush head pops off.Agh! I re-attach my toothbrush head and clean up the stains.I pull on my long sleeve crimson top and roll the sleeves up to the elbows and pull on my sneakers and don't do the laces. 

I rush out of the dorm and then I realise...I have no idea where the class is taking place.Oh no!Why didn't I just go with Magnus???My life would've been so much easier,and I really should go to bed earlier.And I didn't get breakfast.Today is a total disaster! I wonder around the academy, fruitlessly searching all of the classrooms,and just when I'm about to give up,I stumble upon our classroom.The other kids in the class stars as I walk through,Magnus just rolls his eyes.I explain to Masato why I was late.He warns me that if I don't meet the expectations.Unfortuately, there's no more space except next to...Magnus.

Great. 

I plonk myself down next to him and steal glances of him out of the corner of my eye.Staring is just weird.I notice he's wearing an outfit I've never seen him wear before.He has a black cloak,and matching combat boots.He's wearing a royal purple half mask which shows the left side of his face and mouth,and has a Persian red eye hole,so he can see.Underneath his cloak is a black and white sleeveless shirt and royal purple gloves.Weird. 

The rest of the class struggles with making an origami fish.And I can't help but find it funny that they get so frustrated.A girl tears hers up and tosses it to the side and tries again.I'm so much more advanced than these amateurs,and Magnus I guess.But I'm still better then him. 

The bell rings and the whole class (except for Magnus) jump up. 

"The bell doesn't dismiss you.I do."Masato says while adjusting his glasses 

"You may now be dismissed." 

We sprint out of the room and shove each other to get out first.As much as I hate running, there's nothing I wouldn't do to have some food in my belly right now.When I reach the queue,my jaw litteraly drops.Oh why is the queue so long???I really should of have woken up on time this morning. 

After what's like,forever,I finally get served lunch!I snatch a tray and cutlery.For lunch it's pizza.Yum!Well I guess it was worth the wait,then.A girl I kinda recognise from class waves at me and gestures for me to sit with them.I mean, there's no harm in sitting with my classmates,right? 

I make my way to the table while avoiding bumping into the other kids.I arrive at the table and introduce myself. 

"Hi!My name's Dan Kouzo!And thanks for inviting me to sit with you guys!" 

"It's cool.My name's China,China Riot.You're the kid that was late today,right?"China asks.

Now that I'm sitting with her,I notice she's wearing a black collared shirt with cleavages on the shoulder and black gloves.Her skirts is blood red,matching with her lips.Her earrings are black skulls and her eyes are royal purple. Her hair is bubble gum pink and it's waist length 

"Oh yeah," I sheepishly rub the back of my neck."I guess waking up early isn't my thing.Why can't classes just be at a normal time???" I whine 

"Yeah, it's pretty annoying." 

"Oh yeah,I almost forgot! That's crystal blue,Kurin and Aay.Kurin is really into music by the way,so if you mention it he'll be going on for hours and hours,but he's not as into it as he's into Aay!" Riot teases  

"Oh shut it Riot.I'm not gay!"Aay states,while turning slightly red 

"Oh I know.You're Aaysexual."Riot says 

Crystal blue sighs while Riot,Kurin and Aay argue with each. 

"Be quiet Riot!We all know you're le-" 

"Oh you wouldn't dare to say that out loud here.Because trust me,I will rip out your eyeballs and feed them to my pet fish."Riot threatens in a menacing tone.

She must be serious about it, because it shuts them up. 

"Anyways...I hear that the roof has a spectacular view.Wanna join?" 

"Ahaha,sure..."I laugh nervously.I seriously don't wanna get on her bad side. 

We go to the roof.The sky is baby blue and clear except for the white whisipy clouds floating a above us. 

"Wow!The view here is amazing!"I exclaims and lean against the rails. 

"Yeah!I was right!So Dan,who are you roommates with?"Riot asks 

"Oh um,Magnus."I blurt out.He's probably gonna kill me for this 

"Oh.Him...the emo one?" 

"Yeah, basically." 

"You don't like being his roommate?" 

"No! It's horrible!He's always so moody and so arrogant,thinking that he's better then everyone."I groan 

"Magnus will be Magnus."Riot says 

The roof is so high up you can basically see the whole island from here.Beyond our tiny island,is the vast Azure ocean that glimmers in the golden sunlight.You can even smell the saltiness of the ocean!I haven't been out in the big wide world for a while.I sigh and remember that this is for the better, I've left all of that behind now. 

"Speaking of how much you hate Magnus,it may make you a great couple!"Riot exclaims

"Ahaha,no.We hate each other! It's been like that for ages.What makes you say we'd be a good couple,anyway?"I ask 

"I don't know.I just find enemies to lovers interesting!" 

The bell rings and it's time for our next lesson,but what Riot says sticks with me.It's not like me and Magnus will ever be a couple,right?
