*Dan's pov* 

"Come on,wake up Dan!" 

"Ugh...5 more minutes Magnus..." 

I hear chuckling.

Whoever it is,they start shaking my shoulder.

"We've tried everything,Anzu!"

"Hmm,let me try." 

"Dan!Magnus is awake,and he's going to be discharged today!" 

"...WHAT!?" I ask,shooting up and rubbing my eyes 

"That worked."Akio mumbled 

"Yeah,come on let's go!" 

"Wait...wait.What time is it?" 

"Uhhh,10:16 am."Akio answers 

So I didn't sleep for another day.Wow!That spell worked fast! 

"Come on then,what are we waiting for??? Let's go!" I say and pull on my shoes. 

We check out of the hotel,and my heart pounds in my chest.

We enter the spinning doors of the hospital,and I march to the receptionist. 

"Hi!Magnus Black is going to be discharged today?" 

She types something up on the computer.

"Mhmm.Go on." 

I practically sprint to his room. 

"Dan,wait up!" 

"There is definitely something going on between the two of them." Anzu says 

"For sure." Akio agrees,and my cheeks burn. 

"Ah!Young man,you brought your friends! He's better...he woke up and we checked again,there are no signs of injuries,or anything.It's almost as if-" 

"Really?I don't remember him being injured in the first place.I just remember that he was unconscious."I lie 

"Huh.Alright you're free to go,Magnus." 

"Now there's a sight I'd like to see,Dan,"Magnus said,grinning and I giggle "I heard what you said when I was unconscious, about how you've realised how foolish it is for us to hate eachother,and that you...need me.I would like to start over,Dan." 

"Sure.Now come on, let's get you home."  

Akio and Anzu glance at each other suggestively. 

"Ughhhh, I'm starving!" I groan 

"You don't ever think about anything apart from food." Magnus teases,smiling slightly but rolling his eyes 

"Hey!!!Not true!" I huff 

"Well,we should think about the mission first,"Anzu sighs "They're probably going to be mad."I gulp. We return to the hotel and sit on the floor,while Anzu takes out her computer,and face times the faculty." 

"Is that y-you?"Kravitz asks,static spans the image blurring "Can't see everyone." 

"Move up!"Anzu urges. Magnus budges up next to me,since the frame is so small,we have to be shoulder to shoulder,just so Magnus is a bit visible.My breathe hitches in my throat,and I can feel Magnus's body heat on mine,and feel his hot breathe on my face,and my face flushes
