she diverted her eyes from me and started to clutch onto her bump. a sudden panic runs through my veins. due to the immense pain in her belly, she collapsed and the next second I scooped her into my arms and carried her bridal style, and took her into the passenger seat, she looked into my face with a smile and spoke
ARA's NARRATION
I winced due to immense pain in my lower body, Tae drove towards the hospital at high speed, and that's when a weave of contractions hits me. I cried due to the unbearable pain
"Baby just breath steady, we will be there in the hospital soon," he said while caressing my hands and assuring me that everything is going to be okay
"Tae the pain is unbearable," I said while clutching onto his hands and that's when a strong a most painful contraction hit me at this movement my vision started to blur and my whole body felt numb and lifeless, and with that my vision slowly started to become dark and I failed to hold on to taehyungs hand.
VERNON's NARRATION
As I was driving at a high speed I felt that Ara's hold on my hand become slowly faded, As I looked at the passenger seat I saw Ara laying there without any movement. A weave of panic hits my body as soon as I saw her faint. I tapped on her face multiple times but there was no movement, I took out the phone and called Ara's dad and spoke "Dad please come to the xxx hospital Ara is in labor now"
"Baby please be safe," I said while controlling my tears. And that's when it reached the doors of the emergency room. I Ran towards the passenger seat, scooped her in my arms, ran towards the emergency room, and placed her on the stretcher. A doctor comes towards us and started checking her up. "doctor Please save my Ara" I begged in front of them and with that, the doctor directed them to take her to the labor room "Sir, we will try our best to save them" with that he went inside the labor room.
I was being clueless about the whole scene in front of me, I closed my eyes and rested my head on the chair, and prayed for their safety. Seconds changed to minutes, I saw no sign of the doctors
2 Am
As I was waiting for them patiently I saw a nurse running towards me and announcing "Mrs. Ara is now woken and now she is finally dilated enough so she wants you to be with her, so please wear the surgical gown and you can enter the room, and make it quick" she said and went away from there. And without wasting any time I wore the attire they had given me.
As I went inside I saw many doctors and nurses around her while guiding her to push. I went towards her and hold her hand tightly and gently kissed her forehead "Tae, it's hurting I really can't"
she sobbed while pushing hard "Princess just push one more and our baby bear will be here any second" she let out a painful smile and nodded while still not leaving my hand "Mrs. Kim I could see the baby's head, just 2 more pushed and we are good to go" the doctor said while she pushed for the last time, and there, our baby bear is born
