Fay's pov_____________________
Before it got dark the upper-class group gathered for a back-to-school party in the woods because it's what Raf wants for his last few hours. Hope and I sat down not really helping out.
"Hey, I could use tribrid muscle to help, I got a couple more kegs I need to get... But I can see you're not in the mood to party" Raf asked Hope.
"I think I'm a sore loser" Hope said.
"And I'm just sitting because I don't want to help" I simply said.
Hope gave me a look wanting to be alone with Raf. I sign and walk off giving them the space she needs.
A few hours later everyone gathered around a bonfire.
Some people were whispering but apart from that it was quiet.
"Yo!" Raf scoffed "What's with the long faces? Come on I wanted this to be a-a party, like the one on the first night when I came here, not a funeral" Raf explained to us.
"We're trying our best Raf, but it's... A lot" MG spoke.
"Look, just think of something funny, or something stupid and embarrassing of me that you'll always remember me by" Raf explained.
"Like uh, Expectation was a cancer. That awful beat poetry thing" Raf said, and everyone laughs.
"Then there was that time where you turned with uniform on, it was pretty wild seeing a full-blown werewolf with a tie around its neck" MG mentioned and everyone laughs.
"That's the spirit, keep it going" Raf said.
People had all kinds of funny stories, but Raf later ditched with Landon.
The night ending and we see the sunrise and people left. Hope, Lizzie, Kaleb, MG, Jed, and I waited outside Landon and Raf's room knowing they were inside.
Landon came out and saw us waiting for him "He's gone" Landon sniffled.
Hope went over and hugged him.
"Rafael is literally gone" Landon couldn't cope.
"I need to tell you all something" Hope said and everyone looks over at her.
"Last night Rafael told me what his version of heaven looked like. And it gave me an idea. Even though we couldn't heal him, we could still save him, Lizzie and I used the coven ascendant and supernova to give Raf peace as he defined it... Raf is going to a prison world, but it won't be like the one from Kai's" Hope explained.
Raf hugs and says goodbye to everyone.
"Take care, Raf" We hug.
"You too, Fay" we pulled apart and he went to hug Landon.
The next few days have past, and it's been quiet.
I was sleeping with the door opened and Landon walks in with a trey of food and it's it on Hope's bed.
"Breakfast in bed, only the best" Landon said.
"Actually, don't laugh, but it's kind of our anniversary. Math is complicated but if you subtract the time when you were in Malivore, plus the time we were unwilling to admit that we broke up" Landon explained.
"Yeah, my head hurts" Hope said.
"See complicated" Landon said.
I groan "Can you two shut up and go somewhere else. I am trying to sleep" I said flipping around to face the other way from them.
"Sorry" Landon muttered before I hear footsteps running away.
"Guys. Josie's here" Lizzie barged in.
I mentally groan. But got up and got changed and meet everyone outside.
"Jo" I smiled once I saw her "What are you doing here?"
"You haven't heard?" Jo asked and we pulled away from each other.
"Heard what?" I asked confused.
"The Necromancer mad his move on Mystic Falls High. So. What are we going to do?" Alaric asked the group. No wonder Josie is here.
No one spoke "I have a plan, in the past I would have kept it from you, but the way I see it, I need you all to work together" Alaric said.
"Enough with the speeches. I'm in" Hope said.
"You don't even know what the plan is" Alaric told her.
"Where the hell is MG?" Lizzie asked.
"Found a note. He went to go help Alyssa and convince her not to turn to the dark side" Kaleb said and I saw a hint of jealousy in Lizzie.
"I'm in too" Lizzie said.
"Make that three of us" Landon said.
"Landon, this is going to be dangerous"
"I've been to that school. I'll stay out of the fight, but I can't help" Landon offered.
"Sounds like a good idea" I said to him.
We all made our way to the school.
"Looks like were on time" I said when I see a monster come out of the school.
"Here they come" Kaleb said and a bunch of people went charging at it.
Then another monster came out.
Landon and Hope went underground and want to think they are doing just fine.
Lizzie's pov_________________________
I took Josie to our room.
"Dad wants us to take down Alyssa. I need you at full strength" I took out the coin she put her magic in.
"You know I don't trust myself with magic" Josie argued.
"Do it for me, do it for Hope, do it for Fay. Do it for us. We all believe in you... Alyssa is on team monster, and MG hasn't come back, I'm worried about him" I tried to convince her.
"You're blushing. Admit it, after all these years he finally won you over" Josie said.
"If I do, can you take back your magic?" I asked her.
She looked hesitant "We are more powerful together than a part" I said to her. Josie nods and me and took the coin in her hands and siphoned her magic back.
We found MG and Josie knocked Alyssa out.
I ran over to MG on the floor "Are you ok?" I asked him.
I look over at the pit and wave me hand over it.
"How bad is it?" Josie asked me.
"On a scale from horrific to terrible I'd say a 12" I said.
Jo walked over to me "Can you imagine how much dark magic is consume in this?" I asked her.
"I can. It's been inside me" Jo said.
"I know how we can stop it" MG spoke and stood up "But you're going to hate it"
I don't like the sound of that.
"More than dying?" I joked.
"Wake Alyssa up" MG said.
"No way in hell that were doing that" I said.
"Lizzie, she knows the spell. She linked it to the Necromancer, so she can stop it, or to help re-write it, or find some other loophole" MG said.
"If we could trust her" I pointed out.
"All you got to do is try" MG said.
