Hope Becomes The Tribrid

Kaleb and I found Clarke at the high school and healed Lizzie captive. 

"Nobody's eating nobody" Kaleb said and we used our vamp strength to bend some bars to hold him. 

"Guys, Ethan is hurt" Lizzie said as we walked over to her. 

"Yeah. I know. MG is taking care of him" Kaleb informed her. 

"Kaleb! Fay!" Lizzie screamed and I turn around and get kicked and flew into a wall. OK.

I vamped back up and punched Clarke in the face, but he didn't move. Kaleb tried to get a good punch but didn't work.

"I'm really sorry for what I have to do to you after I made a promise to the body that you're in, and I don't like debts not any more than he does" Hope said to him. 

"Yara lati ina si okunkun" Hope chanted and Clarke's monster form disappeared. 

Hope took him to the hospital again and life moved onto another solution. 

The next day I woke up late when Hope walked in and magic the door shut. 

"Don't walk away from me while I am talking to you" Alaric storms in.

"There's nothing more to talk about" Hope argued. 

"Hope there is always another way" Alaric argued with her. 

"Not this time. We all knew this day was coming. Here it is" Hope said.

"What's going on?" I asked really confused. 

"Hope's going to die and active here vampire side" Alaric told me and my eyes widen, and I look over at Hope. 

"Hope no" I shake my head. 

"Malivore just found a way to turn innocent people into monsters that he can control. They're not going to stop coming. And eventually were going to run out of cages and chains and sleeping potions, and then what? The longer we keep him alive, the more innocent people are going to die" Hope yelled. 

"Let's just calm down and take a second" Alaric said to her. 

"Don't tell me to calm down like a child. I just killed someone. You know, the former vampire hunter who took me in when I was little would made the choice in a heartbeat. It's the right thing to do and you know it" Hope said.

"It's not that simple" I said to her. 

"Why not?" Hope asked. 

"Because it's not going to work" Alaric said.

"Why wouldn't it work?" Hope asked confused.

"Because you're not ready" Alaric raised his voice. 

"You don't trust me, just like you didn't trust me to know that Landon was alive" Hope said.

"We're talking about more power than anyone has ever had and no matter how strong you are, you are still your father's daughter" Alaric said and the room became silent. 

Oh shit...

"Get out" Hope said.

"Hope..." Alaric tried to talk. 

"It's not your choice. Get out" Hope said.

Alaric walked to the door and turned back to Hope "As yourself if you are ready to give up on Landon and Cleo. Because if you destroy Malivore, that's what you will be doing" he then walked out of our room. 

"Hope..." I tried to say.

"Don't" Hope walked into our bathroom. Probably to be alone. 

I walked out of our room and Lizzie and Josie came over to me.

"If Hope is really going to do this, then let's give her a proper last day of being human" Lizzie said.

We set up a bunch of tents and tables and had lots of food. 

"What's this?" Hope asked confused.

"We thought we'd have a meal and tell some stories. This is your home, Hope" Alaric tells her. 

"And if this is going to happen, it should happen here and a proper sendoff" I said to her. 

"So, we have already been up for two nights because daughter S was still making us do exams and Hope was so annoyed by that one blowhard professor and Hope spelled him so that he could only speak ancient Babylonian" Wade said and everyone at the table laughs. 

"You can't prove that it was me" Hope said and Alaric gave her a look "Ok, fine that was me" and people laugh. 

"I have a favorite memory. It was when we had the slugs. Hope had a slime trail going from her cheek into her nose" Alaric said and people laugh. 

"What are you going to miss the most?" MG asked Hope.  

"A lot of witches when they transitioned, lost their abilities to do magic. I mean I don't know what's going to happen, but if I never got to do a spell again, I'd miss that" Hope said, "Especially with you too" Hope said to Lizzie and Josie. 

"We were hoping you would say that" Lizzie said.

Josie, Lizzie and I took Hope to a spot where they planted a tree. I just watched them have their moment.

"What is that?" Hope asked confused. 

"A promise of new life" Josie said to her.

"And a new life full of promise" Lizzie finished. 

And then the three of then hugged. 

"Thanks guys" Hope said and broke apart from them and walks over to me. 

"I won't let you go through this alone... I'll be there every step of the way" I said to her. 

"I love you Fay" Hope said.

"I love you too" I said, and we hugged. 

Alaric came over and took Hope away. I went back to the school and went to Landon's room where Aunt Freya stood. 

"Hi aunt Freya" I smiled when I saw her.

"Hello beautiful... Thanks for contacting me" Aunt Freya said.

"I can't do this alone" I said "How's Aunt Keelin and little Nik?" I asked. 

"There well. Keelin and I are on better terms now" Aunt Freya said and then Hope walks in with a smile on her face. 

"Aunt Freya" Hope said.

"Hello, gorgeous" Aunt Freya smiles. 

Aunt Freya and Hope hugged, and I joined them.

Aunt Freya and I got the room ready.

"Dad used to say that the good in me was from my mom, and if I become more like him, what if I lose the only piece of her, I have left?" Hope said softly.

"You are equal parts of your father and your mother, and she will never disappear without a fight" funny, she didn't put up much of a fight when I killed her. 

"People were terrified that you would end up like your father. I loved Niklaus. he was... complicated... and flawed and... loyal and he would have let the world burn just to save the people he loved... Your parents would be proud of the women you have become" Aunt Freya said.

"I am so proud of you, Hope" Aunt Freya said then looked at me. I nod sitting next to her. 

"Ok. Close your eyes. Focus your breath" Aunt Freya said and Hope did just that. Aunt Freya leans in to hug her for a moment.

"Cornum spiritus prohibera" Aunt Freya said and Hope feel asleep. I heled lay her head onto the pillow. 

"When she wakes. She will be the full Tribrid" Aunt Freya tells me.

"Thanks for coming aunt Freya" I said.

"I'm glad I came... Sorry I couldn't get in touch with Rebekah. She's M.I.A" Aunt Freya said.

"I understand" I said to her. 

"I should get going... I'll see you soon" Aunt Freya and I hug and then she was gone.

I laid down next to Hope waiting for her to wake up, but I feel asleep.
