School Lives To Stay Another Day

Hope's pov____________________

I walked the halls and got tones of stares "Where do you think you are going?" Lizzie asked stopping me in the hallway. 

"If I told you, it defeats the purpose and the point, because I'd like to be alone" I tell her. 

"What's the rush? We're all going to be alone soon enough" Lizzie says. 

"If everyone had accepted that, they wouldn't be looking at me like this. Like I can find a way to keep the school open" I said to her. 

"You, too? MG's puppy dog eyes hit below the belt, let me tell you. And I, like you, had a solid plan B, which was running away. Until I got a letter from Josie" Lizzie hands me the card. 

"What does she have to say?" I asked holding the card.

"You need to read it, because there's something in it for you, too" Lizzie tells me. 

Lizzie walks off and I go back to Alaric's office. 

I tried to get in but a spell was up. So I took it down and walked in. 

"Did you get a witch to put up a barrier around your office?" I asked him. 

"I bribed Pedro with a candy bar. Apparently, I overpaid" Alaric said setting his pencil down. 

I used my hands and closed the door. I took a seat.

"Look, Hope, if you are here to change my mind, it's like I am telling everyone. There's no point" Alaric says.

"I came here to thank you, actually. For helping bring back my humanity" I tell him. 

"I can't take credit for that. That plan was really...."

"Josie's? I know. She cast a spell on this pendant that I gave her, and send it to my family in New Orleans. That's how my humanity was able to break through... Anyways, she doesn't need it anymore, and she asked me to give it to someone who does, and I thought..." I placed it on his desk.

"That person could be you" 

I then left him alone.

I laid on my bed after my conversation with Alaric. I need to tell Hope, but don't know how or when is the right time. I am not the only one planning on other paths. Kaleb asked Cleo to go somewhere with her. Lizzie is planning on going to Josie. Jed and Ben are planning on leaving if or not the school stays open. 

Hope came in "Come with me, please" she grabbed the urn and we left school to go by down the river. 

"This place is special to me it's where I come to think , cry when I need to. Make out with my boyfriend who's dead, so don't worry. So are you" Hope says to the urn. 

"I just don't know if you'd think this place is special, too" Hope says. 

"I'm just trying to make the right decision, dad. But if I scatter you here and the school shuts down, then we're just gonna be ripped apart again, so I don't know. Give me a sign or something" Hope said.

"I say, take a leap of faith" I tell her. 

Hope looks at me debating then turns back to the water.

"Take a leap of faith" Hope says then dumps Uncle Nik's ashes. 

"Sorry to interpret" Hope and I turn to see Landon. 

"Landon" I whispered shocked to see him standing here. 

"Hi" he smiles at me.

"Come with me, both of you" Landon led us into the woods where he set up this projector and monitor.
