"Fay wake up!" I heard mom yell. I groan and get out of bed.
"I'm up mom!" I yelled then turned my bracelet on and tapped on it. I turn around and my real mom, Katherine Peirce is right behind me.
"What is it?" She asked looking worried.
"Nothing... I just don't want to go to this boarding school that you want me to go to" I said not happy with the decision to make me go.
"Alaric Saltzman agreed to let you come, due to our differences and Caroline convinced him. Besides you finally get to meet the twins Caroline talks about. He is your chance" Mom explained.
"I know but it's weird. Are you sure it is a good idea to go?" I asked because mom says not to draw attention on myself.
"It'll be fine baby. I want you to live a normal life... Nadia would have wanted that..." She spoke. Her words hit me like a brick. My heart shattered at the mention of her name.

"NADIA!" I shouted horrified as I watched her get staked right in front of me by Stefan Salvatore.
'I love you' She mouthed before she turned grey.
"NOOO!" I sobbed as mom ran in and grabbed onto me before speeding us out of there.

"Ok..." I said as I moved my stuff into the car.
"Promise to call me the minute you get settled in?" Mom asked as we are outside saying our byes.
"Mom" I said annoyed.
"Ok ok, Bye baby" she said, and we hugged.
"Bye" I said, and we pulled apart.
I used the bracelet mom gave to me before she died. I taped on it and mom's ghost left right away. Yep, that's right. Katherine Pierce is dead and the only way I can communicate with her is through a bracelet.
I have had to compel a couple to think I am their daughter so I could have a place to stay.
"By mom, bye dad" I said, and we all hugged.
"We are so proud of you. Stay safe and have fun" Mom said as she and dad let go of me.
"Call us if you need anything" Dad said and I nod at both of them.
I got into my car and drove to the school. It took me four hours to get there. I found a place to park and grab my stuff.
"You must be Fay Peirce?" A girl with brown hair walked over to me.
"Yes? And you are?" I asked.
"I'm Josie Saltzman. My parents asked me to show you to your dorm" She introduced herself. She is one of Caroline's daughters.
