The next morning Alaric came into my room with Hope. Hope went to astral project to Ken. After a few minutes she came back "How did it go?" Alaric asked. 

Hope stood off the ground "He took the bait... Let the war begin" Hope says. 

"Guys. Kaleb is dead" Cleo ran into the room. 

"What?" I asked shocked and confused.

Cleo cried and I hugged her, as she cried more. 

People in the common room had laid out a big picture of him and people left flowers and candles to honor him. 

Cleo left and Alaric and I followed to to the art room. She was packing "Did you not want to join?" I asked her. 

"Lighting candles and sharing stories will not help him" she put her bag over her shoulder "Or us" 

"I see you have other plans" Alaric said.

"It was my decision that coast Kaleb his life" Cleo said. 

"It wasn't your fault, Cleo. It's Ken's, and he is going to pay" I tell her. 

"Yes, he will pay dearly for it" Cleo went to walk around up but Alaric stepped in front of her stopping her. Cleo rolled her eyes and backed up a little. 

"I already lost one student. I'll be damned if I lose another" Alaric tells her. 

"Then let me go. Because while the Squad is fighting Ken, I'll make sure that no other god can do something like this again" Cleo said.

"Take it from me. Revenge feels good for a brief moment, but it won't bring Kaleb back and it won't make you miss him any less" Alaric tells her. 

Cleo smiles sadly "Thanks for the advice. I'll make certain to enjoy that moment" Cleo walked past him and left. 

"It's time.. SALVATORE STALLIONS. LET'S RIDE!" MG yells out. 

Hope and I waited out in the field as others took their place. 

Then we hear thunder and lightening strike the ground to reveal Aurora smirking with a weapon in her hands. 

"You" Hope said with venom. 

"Hello, little bird... Mini Elijah" Aurora said walking a few feet "Were you expecting someone else?" 

"Looks like you switched sides, again" Hope taunted as we walked a few steps "Lizzie was so sure you changed" 

"None of us really change, do we?" she asked "We are who we are. You can't stop being a Mikaelson and I can't stop hating everything that you stand for" 

"Any way we could skip the monologue to the part where to tell us why Ken didn't show up for the fight?" I asked her getting bored. 

"He sent me in his place" Aurora says.

"Then he clearly has no honor" Hope says and I nod agreeing with her. 

"Darling, that's adorable, coming from the girl who plans on cheat by laying a trap for him" Hope looked confused "Oh, I can hear them all out there. The wolves, very loud heartbeats" 

Hope and I pull out our swords "There's the Klaus in you, both of you" Aurora pointed out. 

Aurora held her sword "Strike first, feel later. Ignoring your own hypocrisy whatever it takes to win, I suppose.. Well.. You're not the only one who can cheat" 

I listen through my vamp hearing and hear people groaning and screaming. 

"What did you do to them?" I growled.
