Moving Forward

Fay's pov____________________

The next morning, I woke up in Nathan's arms. Nathan was just waking up as well.

"Morning sleepyhead" I said to him. 

"I don't want this moment to be over" Nathan said cuddling me closer to him. 

"I'll go pack a bag and meet you downstairs" I kissed me before getting out of his bed quickly changing. 

The door opens and Wade walks in "I figured I would give you both the night, but now I want my bed" 

"Thanks, Wade" I smiled at him then walked to my dorm. 

I open the door and walk in. 

"Hasn't changed sense I was last here" I thought. 

I grabbed my duffle bag and packed a few clothes and essentials. 

 I grabbed another bag and filled it with clothes. I carried them outside and met Nathan downstairs talking to Alaric. 

"Hey Ric, happy to see you out of the coma" I said walking over to them. 

Alaric and I hugged. 

"I'm sorry Hope killed you, too. How did you get back?" Alaric asked, frowning at me. 

"A vampire named Aurora; she brought me back. She wants revenge on my family" I said with a shrug off my shoulders "I find it funny how she brought me back without knowing who I was" 

Alaric then noticed our bags "Where you are going?" 

"I need to go home. My family thinks I'm dead, I need to see them" I explain to him. 

He nods his head "Yeah, I understand that. Go, we'll be fine here, and work on a way to get Hope's humanity back" 

"Thanks Alaric" I smiled at him. Nathan grabbed my bags for me and took them to his car. I got into the passenger seat, and he got into the driver's seat. 

"What happened after I died?" I asked him. 

"I shut myself out. The group kept trying to get me out, but I couldn't.... Fay, I love you. You're my mate. I can't live without you" Nathan said.

"I didn't think Hope would actually kill me. She is going to be filled with so much regret when and if she gets her humanity back.... I missed you as well. I told my parents about you; I wish you could meet them" I said to him. 

 "Well, were together again, and that's all that matters" Nathan says which makes me feel so much better.

"You're right" I told him. 

We spent the next few hours talking and we finally arrived in New Orleans. 

I get out of the car and walk into the house. 

"Hello? Anyone?" I call out. But nothing. 

"Doesn't seem like anyone is home" Nathan said as he walked beside me. 

"That's weird... They wouldn't leave, well at least not Aunt Freya" I said confused. 

"Maybe, they will be back later. Until then, we can get settled in" Nathan wrapped his arms around my waist. 

I giggle "Alright" I said, and we took our stuff to my room. 

Unpacking our clothes didn't take long.

"So what now?" I asked Nathan. 

Nathan shrugs his shoulders just in time when I hear the front door open and footsteps walk in.
