Daegu.
The mafia and crime families in South Korea were all so terrible and evil in their own twisted ways, but perhaps the only thing they came to an agreement on was the issue of Daegu.
The family was the worst of them all.
The city was a slave to the old, traditionalist methods and invested in the far more barbaric ways of the mafia, their Capo merciless and cruel, dreaming of a day where Daegu would remain in power and control once and for all.
Seokjin had always distanced himself from the family, regarding them as an adversary, a threat to Seoul and the empire he had built. But with Namjoon's recent observations of the families' growing strength, the Capo had reason to be tense.
He had taken Nabi to one of their mansions a little far from their penthouse, shrouded with foliage and nature, disguised as a small holiday for them when in reality it was an opportunity for him to keep her safe.
They had spent the day together, relatively peaceful, content with each others' presence, exploring the as much of the acres-large mansion as they possibly could, before beginning to retire for the night, Seokjin pressing a kiss to his wife's head, murmering of the work he needed to finish.
And that was the first mistake.
It had been inevitable really, practically impossible for either Seokjin, Nabi or the multiple guards that had been stationed across the home. But the moment Nabi had realised what was going on, it was too late.
A hand gripped over her mouth, preventing her from releasing any sort of sound, her captors fitted in all black, cruel smiles deviating their faces, as they pulled her from bed, forcing her into one of the many rooms that the mansion encompassed.
Seokjin had already been engulfed by multiple men, and whilst he had attempted to attack as many of them as he could, there were too many for him to battle all at once.
"Fuck," One of the men ran a hand through his hair, grinning. "I didn't realise it was this easy for me to ruin Seoul,"
Nabi's hand gripped the switchblade that was in her captor's pocket. If she could just get it...
"Seoul will never fall to Daegu," Her husband spat, though his eyes were on her, always on her.
"Seoul has already fallen, you bastard," He snarled. "We have you and your wife, what more could I ask for? Daegu's time has finally arrived!"
As the men in the room cheered, Nabi's fingers grappled for the weapon before stabbing her captor in his side, earning a cry of both pain and fury. His hands loosened his grip on her, as she raced to her husband's side, the men in the room confused at what was happening.
Seokjin reached for the firearm at his side, pushing his wife behind him an evident battle about to take place.
To her surprise, the door jolted open, Taehyung and Namjoon appearing with re-enforcements, a swarm of soldiers engulfing the room, ready to attack and protect Seoul's heart.
Nabi's eye fell upon a soldier, his rifle aimed straight at her husband's side, and in that moment, nothing went through her head as she jumped in front of the incoming bullet, a shot of pain running through her, a cry of shock being the last thing she heard.
