~Part Three~
As the last bell rings I made my way to Mike's class, seeing him come out last. “Have fun teaching the hunk Bella.” I heard Victoria yell and I see her at the end of the stairs frantically waving at me and I laughed, waving at her. “Come on Mikey.” I put my arm around Mike, making our way out the school. “You're embarrassing me” Mike groaned, prying my arm off of him and I gasp, putting my hand over my heart. “You should be honored, I've only been here for a while and I'm already on top of the food chain, nerd.” I shove him softly and he laughs as we walk through the parking lot, i noticed Eddie waiting, leaning against his van with a cigarette in his mouth, i dragged Mike along with me and he looked at me with a confused look. “Hey.” I greet Eddie, stealing his cigarette from him. “You guys know each other?” Mike stood in front of us, his eyes wide as he looked between us. “And you smoke?” He gasps as Eddie takes the cigarette back from me. “Yeah, I'm supposed to tutor him and yes I've been smoking since I was 15 Michael.” Eddie throws the bud on the floor, stepping on it. “Come on kids.” He opens the door for us before walking over to his side and getting in, as we got in and closed our door Eddie started the van, tyres screeching as he pulled away, i dug my nails in Mike's leg as he drove recklessly, hitting a curb when he went around the corner, his hand brushed against my leg every time he changed gears, even if it was unintentionally and only for a few seconds, it left a warm tingling feeling every time so I moved my legs, closer to Mike's, almost sitting on his lap, the seat wasn't that big but it could take two people and I was starting to regret getting in first.
We stopped in front of the house minutes later, i was just thankful that we made it in one piece and alive, we got out and went into the house, Eddie following me up the stairs into my room, I immediately took out the file, taking out four essays, reading each one over to him and he just nodded with everything I said. “Okay so the first one that you're going to do is about a historic person that you choose to be your role model and you have to explain why you chose them and what they have done to make you feel that they should be your role model, it's only 300 words.” I explained, handing him the essay paper and 3 pages for him to write on, i sat next to him, watching him write, he knew what he was doing so I didn't understand why he never did anything, once I figured that he understood what to do, I pulled out my flashcards, rereading those highlighted yellow and red, i enjoy color coding my work, green meant I knew it, yellow meant I was determined to learn them and understand it but would occasionally forget and red meant i basically had no idea but i only had two reds so i felt really good with four yellows, about thirty minutes has passed and I felt as if I knew everything by now but I still kept reading the cards to myself until Eddie handed me his essay, I took it from him and read it over thoroughly, no mistakes or anything and it was written perfect, his handwriting was a bit scribbly and could belong to a toddlers but I could still somehow manage to read everything. “You do realize you just wrote a 300 word essay in 30 minutes which means you wrote 100 words every 10 minutes without making any mistakes, an essay like this usually takes me a hour.” I looked at him and he had a proud smile on his face. “Well I've been here for two years, i know everything I just don't want to do it because I don't have anything planned for me after school.” He shrugs, taking another essay and beginning to write hastily.
