"

You really don't have to take me, it's a two hour drive, I can get a cab or something and it's literally 3 in the morning." I dragged my luggage down the stairs, I only had to pack clothes since our dorms were already fully furnished. "Yes Edward, we can take her if this is a problem for you or you have somethingelse to do." Ted stood in the doorway, his hands on his hips giving his famous dad pose. "It's really no problem sir, I'd be happy to take her to the airport." He took the luggage from me and made his way out the front door to the van as I stood in the middle of the living room, taking it all in almost feeling nauseous at the idea of me leaving the house, I haven't been here long but while I have, they have made it their first priority to make this feel like my own home and it really did, on many occasions i had called Ted and Karen, mom and dad. "I'm gonna miss you guys." I tried fighting back the tears but the burning sensation in my eyes got the best of me and tears welled up as I shut my eyes tightly. "You don't have to go, you can stay and work at the office with me or at the Video store with Steve." Nancy gives me a look of sympathy. "Well it really is tempting but I have to, this is something I've wanted for a long time and now is my chance to get it." I smiled, looking at Karen who already had tears streaming down her cheeks as she looked at me, holding her hands up to her chest. "I promise I'll be back, it's just a year and I'm back home." I smiled at them, looking up the steps to a sleepy Mike stumbling down, "Are you leaving?" He frowned, rubbing his eyes and i nodded, "Please don't, i don't want to be left with Nancy." He grumbled and Nancypunched his arm, making him yelp. "It's all ready, you good?" Eddie asks, standing in the doorway, the sound of crickets chirping filling the house and i took one last look at everyone and everything before nodding my head,

"I'm ready." I said more to myself, i had to reassure myself that this was what i wanted, i knew it was but it still hurt to let them go so soon, in a years time so much can change and i didn't want it to change. "Oh wait, i made some goodies for you." Karen scurried off into the kitchen and Ted came over to me, pulling me in for a bear hug, plopping his chin on my head. "I'm gonna miss you kiddo." He grumbled, pulling me in tightly before letting me go and walked over to Eddie. "It was good seeing you around too buddy." He held out his hand and shook Eddie's hand, i could tell he was applying much more force than necessary by the way Eddie winced. "You'll call right?" Mike asks, taking a few steps closer and i rolled my eyes, pulling him in for a hug, snatching Nancy by her wrist to join in, the three of us just stood there for a good minute before letting go. "Of course, i'll be on the phone with you guys every day, i think you're the one that won't want to talk to me with all your D&D games." I teased and he smiled at me, "No, who else would tell me what a stupid nerd i was but still try to play the stupid nerd game with me." He replied cheekily and i chuckled, lightly punching him on his arm. "Well i would definitely keep your word on those calls Isabella, i need someoe to help me write those articles, someone who isn't scared to speak their mind." Nancy smiled, crossing her arms across her chest, her hair still messy from sleeping. "I'm just going to miss having a friendly teen in the house, one who doesn't hate their dad." Ted scowls as he stares at his two kids who rolled their eyes simultaneously, proving his point.
