"Wake up dummy, you're going to be late." Nancy barged into my room and I grabbed the book off of my nightstand, aimlessly throwing it in her direction but her smug laugh made me groan at my attempt, rolling out of bed with a sigh the dream I had earlier still vividly carved in my mind with the way he looked at me in disgust running through my mind, I had nightmares before but last night when I woke up, it felt so real my entire body was cold and aching as if I did run through the woods, the only thing that made me aware that it wasn't a dream is that I didn't have any cuts or bruises on my body, after the dream I probably fell asleep around 4 in the morning because the sound of birds chirping was the last thing I remember before passing out. I rubbed my eyes harshly trying to feel more awake but it didn't help as I pulled myself to the bathroom, quickly cleaning up and splashing my face with water, the cold droplets splattering against my skin instantly woke me up as I squinted my eyes at my reflection, I would like to start a riot or petition where going to schools on Monday would be illegal because who wants to go to hell after spending a weekend in heaven, absolutely nobody.I dragged my feet to the cupboard and opened the doors, focusing on all the different colors I figured I could be whoever I wanted with the different clothes I had, maybe I shouldn't always dress so plain and ordinary and spice up my outfits and start putting effort in.
I would if I cared.
But I didn't care so I just simply put on a pair of black ripped jeans and a white shirt, tucked in with a belt finishing the look with my vans and some jewelry. I had my hair up in a high ponytail with some mascara and lip gloss, noticing a new zit on my forehead I groaned, already hating the day. "Isabella I'm leaving with or without you!" Nancy screeches from downstairs and it was days like this that I wanted to take a sledgehammer and swing it at her without any hesitation.
I grabbed my backpack out the corner of my room and made my way downstairs seeing Nancy tapping her foot impatiently as she stood by the front door, looking down at her watch with a displeased look on her face as I quickly grabbed an apple, bidding my 'goodbyes' as we left the house. "I know something you don't want me to know." Nancy smirked as we got in the car and I chuckled nervously, trying to look at her innocently. "What would that be?" I questioned, staring at my reflection in the rear view mirror, combing my fingers through my messy ponytail. "I know you've been seeing Eddie." I laughed at her words, rolling my eyes. "No I am not." I muttered, grabbing my extra bottle of perfume out of my bag and applied some on my palms and the back of my ears. "Yes I do, I saw the roses and I know he was with you last night, I also know you were at Enzo's" I just sat back in silence, somehow intrigued at how fast she figured things out but completely embarrassed, I mean we didn't do anything to hide our 'date' but I just didn't expect her to find out this soon, I didn't even know how she did because she was at work most of the time and when she wasn't she was with Barbara.
"Did your mom tell you?" I huff out as she entered the school grounds, stopping the car in front of the entrance and she gasped smacking my arm, "She knows?" I rolled my eyes, winking at her before getting out and running into the school, it feels as if I haven't seen Victoria in ages even though it has only been two days.
