"If you're planning on killing me, could you make it quick?" Eddie's grip around my arm tightened as I almost fell over something, I had no idea where I was since he had covered my eyes with his bandana the moment we left my house and I was fully convinced that he was about to kill me for being such a nagging bitch, I mean he was done with all his work, he was going to graduate and he didn't need me anymore so to get rid of my annoying butt, the only logical thing to do is murder me, it made sense, I mean that's what I would do if I had someone annoying me constantly. "Can you just shutup, we're close." The irritated sigh that followed those words made me roll my eyes, I have accepted my fate, the school's 'freak' was going to be the ending of me, for a while I had gotten nervous about the flight to California so I would make up little scenarios in my head where the plane crashes or something goes wrong and it always ends with me dying, or there would be some creep professor who turns out to be a serial killer and slaughters the entire class, these thoughts constantly kept me up throughout the nights making me rethink if I even wanted to go but apparently I was wrong, I was born in Hawkin and I will die in Hawkins.
It was about ten more minutes of us walking and me tumbling over things until we came to a stop and Eddie had let go of my arm. "Any last words?" If it was possible, I could hear him smirking as he took the bandana off of me and I smiled widely at the sight infront of me, we were on the other side of the lake across from where the houses are, the blue sky and white clouds reflected onto the water, it looked so calm with a small breeze against my skin, the tall trees brushing against eachother with the sound of birds chirping, I was stood still in my spot for a while, staring at the sight in front of me in awe, a flock of birds flying past in a perfect triangle, I turned around to look at Eddie seeing him spread out a small striped blanket on the grass, harshly patting down the places that stood up, the tip of his tongue sticking out in heavy concentration, he stood crossing his arms staring at it nodding as he was satisfied with what he had done. "A picnic Munson? Isn't that a bit cheesy for you." I smirk, staring at him and he rolled his eyes throwing his backpack on the blanket before plopping down next to it, opening the bag and taking out two containers, opening them revealing quite large muffins.
He pats the space next to him and I sigh, taking a seat as he took one of the muffins out and took a bite out of it seconds later shoved it in my mouth. "Edward freaking Munson." I coughed after swallowing it, slapping his arm as he laughed at me, lightly tapping my back as I stopped coughing. "How did you manage to do all of this without me noticing?" I ask him after a while and he shrugs, eating one of the blueberry muffins, I was quite impressed by his choice of flavor because blueberry was actually my favorite. "Well while you were talking to Wayne I managed to pack everything and when we got to your house, Dustin gave me the muffins because I asked him at our game." I couldn't help but smile at him as he just say there, effortlessly looking like he was sculpted by a God, his long curly hair in a low bun, a few strands hung loosely. "So this was planned? What if I didn't say yes?" I layed down on my stomach, my head resting on the palm of my hand while I was picking at the grass with my other hand, glancing over at him occasionally as he kept quiet.
