It had been 4 days since graduation and after confessing my undying love towards Eddie, he had completely dismissed me and I haven't seen him since our kiss. You thought?
Eddie had been dragging me everywhere along with him, even if it was just him making a drug deal he would come pick me up to tag along even if I looked like a homeless person, he'd still tell me how 'gorgeous' I looked even if he meant it sarcastically a few times, I had been introduced to Reefer Rick yesterday and had to stay for a couple of hours while they drank a couple of beers and smoked a joint each, I was absolutely terrified to get in the car with Eddie's superior driving skills especially after he has alcohol in his system but to my surprise he drives much better intoxicated than sober.
Ever since our little sex scandal in the school bathroom, we hadn't had sex until two days ago for the first time in a while and it wasn't rough and just us fucking, it was more passionate, gentle and loving, I was pretty sure he had kissed every inch of my body that night, including my toes.
"Earth to Isabella." Robin snapped her fingers infront of my face and I gave her a sheepish smile. "You care to stay in this current world?" Steve teased and I rolled my eyes taking a sip of my water he had bought me. "No,I prefer the one with unicorns and rainbows Steve." I said sarcastically before picking up one of the boxes and carrying it to the back of the store where they kept most of the outdated movies. "Your job sucks." I yelled as I placed it on the floor, dusting my hands against my jeans. "Yeah well what you gonna do." Steve shrugs as he packs the movies in alphabetical order. "I'm going to miss the fiesty girl who always had a comeback." Robin sighed as she leaned against the counter, flipping through a magazine, both her and Steve had threatened to lock me up in the storage room next week but the couple of times i had been in there had me thinking that if they were to lock me in there for just 5 minutes, i would simply pass away out of fear, there was absolutely no source of light in the room with only a dim bulb that hung from the ceiling that barely lit up the room. "I'll miss the goofy girl that enjoys annoying Steve just as much as i do." i grinned widely, taking a seat on the floor with my back against one of the shelves. "Oh well while you're not here I'll be sure to keep him on his toes." She chuckled earning a scowl from Steve as both of us snickered.
"Yeah right, I'm unbothered by both of your attempts." i rolled my eyes as he brushed his hand through the bush that was growing on his head. "You should get a haircut, you never know what's nesting in that." i teased and he flipped me off, opening another box filled with dvd's. "As much as you do annoy me, i am going to miss you but only a little bit." I shot a glare in his direction and grabbed one of the dvd's on the shelf i was sat against, throwing it towards him but unfortunately i missed and it just slid away into the corner of the store, stopping when it collided with another shelf. "You better miss me a lot Harrington, i did not spend 10 months getting on your last nerves just for you to miss me a little." I said in a sassy tone, flicking my fingers with every word. "Whatever you want Wheeler." i rolled my eyes and continued looking around the store, dust had built up on the floor and some of the shelves, it smelled like coffee beans and dust in here and i couldn't help but wonder why it smelt like that if there wasn't a coffee machine in sight.
