(This is my steddie version of the "hey Steve.. make him pay" scene)

Eddie's POV
I was standing their shield in hand wanting to tear my skin off with the nagging feeling coming up my throat wanting it out.
"Hey, Steve" I blurted not wanting to finish but something must have come over to me because I edged closer when the perfect mullet-haired boy turned around "yeah?"
I inched closer till my hand met his shoulder, all my worries faded for a second which felt like minutes. Our lips suddenly meet I could feel the shock on Steve's face but it's all I wanted to do what I ever wanted to do. I let our lips free before he could even react "make him pay.." I said before seeing those soft lips one last time.

Steve's POV
I was slowly walking back after giving Eddie and them a "talk" about not going to go be a hero otherwise they'll get themselves killed, when I heard the clear but whispered words of Eddie "Hey Steve" it caught me by surprise and by the time I fully turned around and said "yeah?" His hand was perfectly placed on my shoulder I found myself staring at those lips again but before anything else, those lips met mine for a good long moment before letting go and the sweet last words I'd ever hear from this man again was "make him pay".
