One week later.
Ash.

"I don't want you to go." She spoke into my care chest as I hugged her bare body into mine, knowing I needed to get up to pack, but wanting to just stay here all day instead.

"Believe me when I say that I'd rather do anything but leave you." I told her, kissing her collarbone in several spots, hearing her exhale.

I was leaving for four days with Luke to go to a different hospital that was short on staff for the week, and Ava was not excited.

"Have a girls night with Sierra, I'm sure she will be just as lonesome as you-" "we already have girls nights planned, but that doesn't change that I don't want you to go." She told me, making me smile.

"Someone is spoiled to me." I spoke, laughing as I did.

"Don't bring it up."

She stayed in bed as I put on boxers and started packing, herself watching my every move.

"And michael and Calum will still be here, so you two know that if you need anything at all, to just call them-" "I know, they're invited to girls night as well." She spoke casually.

"Michael and Calum are invited to girls night?" I laughed as I asked the question, but she immediately nodded firmly to me.

"Yes, and Crystal of course." She nodded firmly.

"So like- you do realize girls night is supposed to be girls, right?" I laughed to her, making her immediately roll her eyes.

"If it had to be a strictly girls night, it would just be me, Crystal and Sierra, so might as well make it a little more entertaining and invite mike and Cal, who will also be lonesome." She spoke with a teasy smile, making me laugh, focusing back to my luggage.

"I think you're just mad because I've never invited you to girls night." She raised her eyebrows to me with curiosity

"No I'm more mad that my best friends get to be with my beautiful girlfriend and I'll be four hours away, stuck in a hotel with Luke." I chuckled, folding a few items of clothes as I spoke to her.

"Oh- I'm your girlfriend now?" I could hear the amusement in her voice, making me realize that I had used 'girlfriend' when referring to her.

"Well" I decided to continue her amusement.

"It's not official, but I'd sure hope that we could successfully label whatever we are, because you are laying in my bed naked." I leaned in, kissing her lips gently just as I finished, making her smile.

"Speaking of that, actually"

I got excited almost, wondering if she was going to ask about making us official or what.

"Throw me one of your sweatshirts."
