"So we send a team in undercover. We will signal for one of them to get up and use the washroom. Over the next 3 minutes, our remaining officers will take places at tables and bar stools close to the doors. Obviously not all of them will move, some will stay in place or be near the doors from the start but I'm being brief y'know?" Matt remarked as he solved a rubik's cube. 

Mello snatched it from Matts hand and scrambled it with a snarl before aggressively pushing it into Matts open palm. Matt rolled his eyes before solving the rubik's cube again and continuing his explanation.

"Anyways, then one our men will confront the big leader with our warrant and how they are under arrest. We think a big fight will break out at this moment so our officers will block off exits until our already present back up arrives, blah blah blah, we beat them and have to go back to the house on Thursday." Matt turns the sides of the rubik's cube a few more times before it was solved once more, placing it on the table with satisfaction.

You smile brightly before placing your cup of tea on the table next to the rubik's cube.

"I'm happy to hear you have a plan. I'm sure it's nice to know the case will be over soon." You say.

"Yeah it's almost over, but I wish we could stay here. It's much more quiet, we would be close to L, and I'd get have more of your cooking." You blush at the sentiment, waving him off.

"Thanks for the compliment Matt, I would love to have you stay but you still need to build up some of your skills back at the home." You feel a buzz in your pocket and look at the time on it.

"I know." Matt replies. "Its just nice to be here sometimes."

"Is it time for bed?" Mello sees you check the time and you nod back at him.

"It is time to take you guys back upstairs." You say popping your phone back into your apron.

"Man, I wish we could talk more. I'm not even tired." Matt complains, standing up. Near placed his figurines on the floor gently before getting up and walking to the couches.  

You all walk out and silently make your way upstairs. Saying goodnight, you return to the room to clean up the cups and plates left by the couches. You try to clean up as quietly as possible, but the cups, saucers, and spoons clang together, echoing around the room in painful screeches.

"Please come back after you are done with the cart."

"Yes sir." You affirm before leaving the room and cleaning the dishes. You make a brief stop by your room to drop your wet apron in the laundry bin before returning to L.

L was sitting normally on the couch. He pat his thighs with his hands and you go over, sitting in his lap.

"Hi angel. How are you?" L wrapped his arms tightly around you.

"I'm good L." You place a kiss on his cheek and you lean into his warm touch. 

He holds you there for a while, just rubbing circles in your hips. You spot the rubik's cube still on the table and pick it up, messing up the solved sides. L watched your hands momentarily before glancing back at your face.

"I want to discuss take down night with you." L said plainly.

"What about it? It seems like a solid plan."

"It is, but it's not about that." He places a hand on your thigh. You look up from the mixed up toy at L. "I want to do something new with you that night." You gave him a confused look.

"What do you mean L?"

"I want you to cock warm me." Your heart stops for a moment as your brain tries to process his words. A hot blush heated your face as you gripped the rubik's cube tight.
