The cold air of the night made her shiver as they finally exit the Off Ramp after partying half of the night with Seattle musicians. The sky was tad dark mimicking the day's weather apart from the rain that had stopped momentarily. The streets were damped though and the temperature had lowered a lot comparing to when she reached the establishment at the beginning of the night. The humid air seemed to pierce through her clothes, into her skin and finally freeze her bones. White puffs came out of their mouth as they spoke. Eiry shivered and crossed her arms over her chest, running her hand over them at the same time as they walked down the street side by side. Eddie looked at her.

"Cold?" He asked with concern that warmed her from the inside.

"No..." Eiry grinned "...just very excited." Eddie laughed.

"To see me?" He then asked as he pulled his curls away from his face. The tip of his nose red and so were his cheeks.

"I'm pass that." She winked and he giggled low. "I'm just anxious about what's coming next..." Eiry winked and he nodded.

"I see..." He whispered in his deep tone and held her hand, lacing his fingers with hers. That sole gesture made her shiver again.

As she did so, he let go of her hand and Eiry saw him taking off his blue jacket. Then, he draped it on her shoulders. She looked up at him, thanking him with a smile and taking his hand in hers again, entwining their fingers. Eddie was gentle and attentive. He has always been and she considered herself so lucky to have met him. They walked in silence then for a few seconds on the deserted street due to the late time of the night. Seattle was sleeping already or at least, that part of town was sleeping.

"Boo..." Eiry giggled and he looked down at her. "You're not gonna say anything to him but Stone hit on me tonight." Eddie stopped on his tracks.

"What?" He curled an eyebrow and Eiry raised her hands to cup his face.

"He didn't know..." She smiled, looking in his eyes.

"Explain!" He still didn't smile.

"I got to there and went to the bar to grab a beer waiting for you to go on stage and he was there. He offered to pay for my drink and I told him I had a boyfriend. I had no clue he was from your band and he didn't know I was your girlfriend. He apologized..." Eddie smiled there.

"He did?" Eiry nodded. "God damn..."

"He didn't know." She shrugged.

"You're hot. That's why he hit on you." He kissed her lips and entwined his fingers with hers. "Let's go?" Eiry nodded and they continued their way.

"You were amazing, boo." She told him as they descended the street.

"I could have been better." His hand left hers and he crossed his arm over her shoulder, pulling her tiny figure against his. His lips then kissed the top of her head, as Eiry crossed her arm around his lower back.

"Babe, it was your first time with these guys and you have been here for less than a week. The environment was intimidating. You were amazing, Eddie. Don't be too harsh on yourself." She looked up at him. "Really, boo."

"I'm so glad that you're here." He pinched her nose and then bent over to peck her lips. "I miss you all the time."

"Oh..." She crossed her other arm around his waist to hold him even closer. "I miss you too, you know." She confessed.

"What did you think of the guys?"

"I think they're really cool." She smiled. "I really liked Chris and Susan too. In general, people were great. Different... but great." Eddie laughed loud.
