Eiry woke up to the gentle rays of sunlight piercing through the blinds, casting a warm glow on the walls, and disformed shadows. The soft hum of city traffic could be heard in the distance. As she stretched her arms above her head and blinked away the remnants of sleep from her eyes, Eiry felt a sense of calm wash over her. Knowing Eddie was by her side made her feel so incredibly alive. Turning around, she saw him still asleep beside her, his chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm. She couldn't help but smile at the sight of him, his peaceful expression bringing comfort to her heart. In that moment, Eiry realized how lucky they were for life giving them another chance. With gratitude filling her heart, she leaned over to give him a gentle kiss on the cheek before starting their day together. He stirred to the feeling of soft kisses being spread over his face. In the amidst of his grogginess, he could feel Eiry's gentle touch as she caressed his cheek with her lips, leaving a trail of warmth in his wake.
"I know you're awake." She giggled.
"I'm not." He smiled with his eyes closed.
"Wake up..." More feathering kisses on his cheek.
"What time is it?" He asked without opening his eyes. His voice deep and raspy due to the sleep. Eiry looked back at the alarm clock on her nightstand and the big red numbers read twelve something.
"It's past noon." She turned to him again. Eddie yawned.
"We should get up..." As he opened his eyes, Eddie was met with Eiry's loving gaze, her eyes filled with tenderness and affection. "Hi..." He whispered, stretching a hand to touch her delicate face.
"Good morning." Eiry leaned over and kissed his lips. "Is it today?" She asked, but Eddie shook his head. His eyes still blinking as he tried to remain awake.
"Tomorrow." He then mumbled. "We can do some tourist stuff today." He smiled. "You've never been here, and Copenhagen is quite a beautiful city."
"I'd like that." Eiry smiled at him. "Maybe Stone and Rae wanna join us?" Eddie shrugged.
"Do you mind if it's just us today?"
"No." Eiry shook her head.
"Tomorrow you'll see them, and we'll spend some time with them." Eddie continued while Eiry nodded. "But I would love to be just with you today. Just us, doing our stuff."
"I said it's ok." She pecked his lips and then rolled on top of his naked body.
"Wow..." He chuckled, looking in her eyes. He held both her cheeks with his hands to prevent her hair from falling all over her face. "This doesn't look like tourist stuff." Eddie joked, raised his head from the pillow and kissed her lips.
"What I have in mind is way better than tourist stuff..." Eiry whispered looking down at him.
"Really?" He whispered back.
"Hum... hum..." She nodded with an innocent glare in her eyes which caused his to smile.
"Explain." Eddie teased.
"Because..." She slid a hand slipped a hand between then slid it up his belly until she reached his torso. "I have some stuff in mind that you're gonna love..." She teased one of his nipples with her fingers and slide her body up to kiss his neck. "... and I have some suggestions." She bit his chin lightly and he smiled.
"You're almost gaining me." He played with her, pulling a strand of her hair away from her face.
Eiry bit her lower lip looking like an innocent girl with her eyes locked on his and let her hand slide down his belly until it reached his crotch. She felt him twitch under her hand and he grew a little hard.
