It was Christmas morning, and they were still in bed in a RV at a beach with no one around. They were side by side, holding hands, panting, and sweating and their bodies felt like they were on fire. Their heart racing, their breathing still heavy. Every cell of their body had come alive. They could still feel their blood rushing through their veins and their skin tingled with pleasure. Their breaths were deep and ragged, and they tried to catch their breath. Their chest rose and fell rapidly, and they tried to calm themselves down. The air felt thick with the scent of sex. They just laid there in a state of blissful exhaustion and watching the rain fall over the glass roof above the bed.

They experienced the same sense of peace washing over them. The sound of the rain tapping against the glass was soothing and calming, almost like a lullaby. The drops were thick and raced each other down the glass, creating intricate patterns that seemed to dance before their eyes. The colors of the world were muted by the rain. Eiry felt his hand squeeze hers and they were watching nature's symphony unfold before their eyes. It was beautiful. The ocean was making herself heard too with rustling waves gradually building into a crescendo of crashing waves against the shore. The sound was constant and yet ever changing as each wave brought its own unique rhythm and melody. Sometimes a soft whisper, other times a thunderous roar. The scent was amazing, a mix of rain and sea. They were enveloped in their perfect world.

"I could stay here forever..." Eiry finally spoke, rolling on her side to spoon with Eddie. "I'm so glad you had this idea... it's perfect..."

"Yeah..." He whispered. Her naked body warming his. "I wouldn't mind living like this."

"Can we stay longer, boo?" Eiry raised her head, resting her chin on his chest and looking up in his oceanic eyes. "The rest of the week? I'm not working until after New Year..."

"I don't know..." The tip of his fingers ungluing some strands of her hair from her face. The sex had been wild, and she was still showing all signs of it. Her face was still a little flushed and her eyes glowing. "I'd have to talk to Stone, you know."

"I know..." She pulled her body up and kissed him on the lips. "When it stops raining, we can go to the village and call him. I want to wish him a Merry Christmas and I need to call my dad too."

"If it stops raining..." Eddie chuckled and pinched her nose gently. "Unless we drive the RV, but it would be shitty to park it. We only have the bikes on the back." Eiry shrugged as she sat on the bed. The rain was starting to subside.

"It's going to stop raining." She pointed up at the glass roof.

Eddie sat too and smiled at her. Then, he leaned over and clutched a hand on the back of her neck, pulling her to him. Eiry didn't offer resistance, and he pecked her. At first, she thought it was going to be just a simple peck on the lips, but then Eddie opened his mouth and their tongues touched. She felt her body catch fire as their tongues moved together and she started exploring his mouth with hers, tasting him and feeling the softness of his lips against hers. He parted from her as gently as he started kissing her, with a soft smile on his lips.

"I think you're right." He said after in his deep tone. Eiry giggled.

"And I thought you were just preparing me for another round." The two laughed loud.

Eddie took the opportunity to wrap his arms around her waist and lied her down on the bed, falling on top of her as they giggled like two young children. Eiry tangled her fingers in his curls, pulling his hair away from his face so she could see it and they just stayed there, staring into each other's eyes until the laughter subsided.

"I thought I left you pretty worn out..." He then added with a cocky expression that made her throw her head back and laugh again. Eiry was much better than when they arrived in Seattle, but he had yet seen her laughing as freely as she was laughing that morning. "I'm in an awe of you, love." Eddie told her, resting on his elbows to caress her cheeks with his hands. "It's been a while since I heard you laughing like this."
