Eiry raised her arms above her head and pressed her palms against the headboard to make more pressure as she stretched her body. Light was already piercing into the bedroom. Sunrays penetrating under the blinder and projecting against the wall, creating abstract lightning dancing little figures. Still blinking her eyes to bear the light, she turned her head to the left side to read the time on the alarm clock that was sitting on her nightstand. It flashed 10 am. She turned her face towards the white ceiling and frowned for she was still feeling tired. Then, an arm wrapped around her waist and lips kissed her naked shoulder, making her smile. A second later, brown wavy tips of hair were tickling her cheeks as the lips encountered hers for a morning kiss.

"Good morning." Eiry said sleepy, while running a hand over his hair so she could have a better look of his also sleepy face. His eyes incredibly puffy and yet so vivid.

"Fuck, I'm still tired." His voice raspy and groggy, and at the same time he rolled on top of her, making Eiry giggle. "Morning, love." Eddie smiled down at her.

"What are you doing?" She asked him, still holding his hair in place. His blue eyes glistening as he stared into her almond ones. "Don't you have to go to the studio? You said something about it last night..."

"Right..." Ignoring her remark, Eddie pecked her lips, and then continued kissing her down her neck.

"Boo!" Eiry giggled and pulled his head up. "I mean it." She said firmly. "It's late, babe." She pointed at the alarm clock. "Do you have to be somewhere?"

Eiry was confused. They had a long night. When they got home from their adventure in the woods, they still had a few drinks. Though Eiry didn't drink any alcohol, she smoked pot with him, ending up super high with him as so many other times before.

"Why are you remembering that now?" He pretended to be annoyed by curling an eyebrow and putting on a serious look, but Eiry knew him too well.

"Because I am quite sure when we were dancing in the balcony that you said something about it." Eiry told him. Eddie smiled and rolled her eyes. "I am serious, babe..."

"I also remember all the promises you made while we were dancing." Eddie looked in her eyes. "None came true, I must say..." Eiry threw her head back and started laughing.

"Because you were high out of your mind." She stated. "You were laughing the whole time and then you fell asleep."

"Oh..." He exclaimed, tickling her on the belly. Eiry contorted under him and choked on her laughter. "Because you were not high..."

"Stop..." She begged him in between laughter still contorting under him. Eddie stopped, watching her catching up her breath with a smile on his lips. "I was... but you were high as a kite, boo."

"Ok!" He rolled off of her and sat on the bed. "I am not staying here while you defame me." Eiry laughed loud again. "Don't laugh." Eddie smiled sweetly at her. "I am not complying with my husband duties." Eiry's laughter echoed louder in the bedroom and he started laughing too.

"I love you, boo." Eiry held his hand with hers. "With all my being..."

"I kinda like you too, you know..." He pretended to be uninterested.

"Kinda like you..." Eiry opened her mouth pretending to be indignant. "Kinda... I will never forget that Edward Vedder... never..." Eddie smiled and lied down on top of her again, capturing her lips with his. "Don't even try to smooth me now..." She broke the kiss.

"Shut up!" He whispered and kissed her once more.

"Hey..." She protested in between kisses.

"Sush..." Another kiss with so much intention on it that made her surrender.
