Chris's POV
The following morning, I'm awoken from my slumber naturally, before Meg, which happens most days. I'm almost always awake first, but I don't mind at all. It gives me a chance to do something nice for her before she wakes up. However, being in a hotel room, my options are scarce. Instead, I take advantage of the fact that she's still asleep, and beautifully naked, by kissing random spots on her body. I start with her shoulder, while also brushing my fingers ever so gently across her bare skin. I know it's a bit weird, but I can't help but watch her as she sleeps. I'm so lucky to have her. I still can't believe she'd ever think that I could be with anyone but her now, especially any of my exes. I wish I could take all of her insecurities away. I wish fucking them out of her actually worked. I hope that one day I'll be able to make her see that she's enough for me — perfect for me. Maybe once I propose. God, what if she isn't ready for that yet? What if it is too soon? But it could be the perfect time. What better way to tell someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with them than asking them to marry you?

My phone suddenly pings, letting me know I have a text. Turning over, I grab my phone and unlock it, reading the message. It's from the jewellers, telling me my order is ready for collection — the ring. My lips stretch into a wide smile. Quickly, I lock my phone and put it back on the bedside table, before going back to Meg. I move her hair slightly to expose her neck, planting a soft kiss. Right after, she shivers and I smile again, moving back to her shoulder, placing my hand on her hip gently. A small groan escapes her lips and she twitches. Slowly, she begins to wake up, eyes flickering open. "Good morning, honey."

"Mmmm, mornin'." She mumbles, smiling sleepily. I kiss her shoulder again. "This is a n-nice way to w-wake up."

"Yeah?" I ask, moving to her neck and planting a light kiss, causing her to shiver again. I smile slightly, brushing my fingers around her hip just as lightly.

"Mmmm, yeah."

"Well, get used to it. I'm going to do it every morning now." I tell her, kissing the back of her shoulder.

"You w-won't always have the t-time." She points out, making me smile slightly, as I keep kissing around her shoulder and neck.

"I'll make the time. Wake up earlier." She rolls onto her back, giving us eye contact and her whole face for me to stare at. My smile widens as I look at her. She bites her lip, fiddling with her fingers.

"I r-really am sorry. About l-last nnnight." I shake my head.

"You haven't got anything to apologise for. You were honest. That's what I want. I want you to tell me, so we can work together to fix it, and that's what we did, didn't we? We fixed it?" She smiles and nods. "Then stop worrying about it. I don't love you any less."

"You sure?" She asks with an innocent smile and I chuckle, shaking my head.

"I'm absolutely positive. I'll never love you any less, no matter how many arguments we have. I'd rather argue with you, than be with anyone else." I confess, leaning down and pressing my lips to hers softly. When I slowly pull back, her cheeks are bright red, which makes me smile widely. "I love how I can still make you blush."

"Oh, shush." She mumbles, smiling uncontrollably and glancing down to avoid eye contact.

"Nu-uh. I'm going to continue swooning you until the day I die."

"That's m-morbidly sweet." She says, making me laugh softly and nod.

"It is a bit." I agree and she smiles at me, going back to fiddling.

"So... are you going t-to see M-Minka today?" She asks hesitantly, avoiding eye contact. With an easy smile, I shake my head.

"Nope."
