Chapter 29

"Guys will you stop?!" Sylica glared at me and Max.

I pulled away from Max and giggled while smiling at her.

"Soooooorry," I laughed.

"Gosh. You'd think a girl could study in peace," she picked up a crumbled piece of paper and threw it at Max.

It was around 3 pm in the afternoon and we were sitting in the library studying Geography and Science.

And well the urge to kiss him was too strong and he was feeling the same way so we kind of started making out when Sylica wasn't looking and then when she actually looked up to ask me something I think she almost fell off her chair.

I continued writing down notes and stuff when suddenly he came up close and moved his chair closer to me. He buried his face in my neck.

"While you're doing your work I'm gonna make your urge stronger," he whispered.

I started to have goosebumps all over. It was so... Tingly. He then put his arm around my waist..

"Max I need to study," I said.

"Go on then," he smirked and put his head on my shoulder.

I tried to block out Max but my god.. Okay so housing shortage is caused by high birth rates.......

"Max!"

"Whattt," he asked pretending to be innocent.

"You're distracting me..."

"What do you mean?" He said in fake puzzlement.

I facepalmed.

"You have to trust me alright?" He held a blindfold in his hands and he walked closer to me.

"Where are you going to take me?" My voice trembled a bit.

I've been blindfolded once and it was a terrible experience.. The bullies in kindergarten blindfolded me and tied me to a chair then left me somewhere in the woods until my brother came to help me..

"Trust me. Please?" Max looked into my eyes.

I took a deep breath. YOLO right?

"Okay.." I sighed.

He went behind me and put on the blindfold, he then guided me to his car and made me sit in the back.

I had to try really hard just to keep my breathing normal. I hated the fact that I couldn't see, it was annoying and really unsettling.

The car stopped.

Oh my god. Where is Max.

I didn't hear the car door open.

There's no one in the car.

Oh god. I'm going to die.

Suddenly a pair of hands grabbed my shoulders and gently pulled me out.

"Its okay. I'm here," Max whispered into my ear, his breath sent goosebumps down my back.

"Where are we?" I asked.

"Patience is a virtue, Heather," he chuckled.

After a while of walking and almost tripping over roots. Yes roots. It was some big thing.. Max took off the blindfold and in front of me was the cliff but there was a picnic basket and fairy lights were hung on the trees.

I gasped, "Max.. That is the most cliche thing I've ever seen!"

"So do you like it...?" He scratched his head.

I hugged him tightly, "yes yes I do."

We spent the night under the stars. We ate, drank, laughed, chatted.. Made out.. And yeah.

I lay beside him looking up at the millions and millions of stars and with the fairy lights it made everything better. Max held my hand and I looked at him.... He looked at me...

"I love you," he said.

My heart skipped a beat...

"I love you too."

His next words were the exact words I've been dreaming of ever since I got over Adam.. Ever since he kissed me and ever since we started to get closer.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

I grinned, "yes Maximilian, I will."

He kissed me again and again and again..
