I woke up the next morning and Delia was actually still beside me, or rather on top of me hair sprawled in all different directions. I brushed her hair out her face slightly and the sun hit it at the perfect angle to make her glow. I checked the time on the alarm clock on the nightstand and it was 6:30 am, she would have to be up soon. I waited so I could watch her a bit longer before I reluctantly woke her from a peaceful slumber. "Good morning my sun" she whispered; her voice slightly raspy from the lack of use through the night. I wish her voice was raspy for a different reason, I'll have to make that happen I smirked. "Make what happen?" she asked sitting up to stretch and look at the clock.

"I'll cook breakfast for the girls since I was up first" I say avoiding her question without actually intending to I just got distracted. "Don't avoid my question" she pouted, "I'm sorry star I'm just airheaded and got distracted. What was your question?" I asked apologetically, reaching out and holding her hands so she would know I was serious. "You said you have to make something happen..." she said quietly. "I didn't say that, you read my thoughts" I say, "Same thing" she shrug and I roll my eyes. "My thoughts are for me only" I say standing up, "then why didn't you block them from me" she mumbled walking to the bathroom.

"Because I trust you, and because I never want you to feel like you can't get to me" I say softly walking out the bedroom. I made breakfast and the girls came down surprisingly quickly and I dished out the plates before going up to my room. I didn't have much of an appetite this morning, as I was coming up Delia was going down and she stopped me. "Where are you going?" she asked me slightly concerned, "I need some fresh air and I'm going to study too" I say and she nods hesitantly. I grab a book on the general powers, mostly the seven wonders but it was still knowledge I needed to have. I changed into some clothes appropriate for walking in this hot ass weather including my boots.

I walked out the front door gaining a few odd looks but no one said anything. I walked a ways down the street until I came to this gorgeous park, I walked through the gates looking for a bench. Once I had found one under the shade of two big willow trees I perched and crossed my legs popping in my headphones and pressing play before opening the book. I was sat reading for a while, I couldn't be sure of how long but I began to feel something weird. It was like this odd warm sensation all over my body that came from within my veins and made my skin feel... buzzy like electricity.

I looked up to see Delia walking towards me and I smiled at her as I closed the book and took out my ear buds pausing my music. "Hey" she said shyly and I chuckled bringing her closer to me by her waist, "I thought you were mad at me" she pouted. "Why would you think that?" I asked her and she shrugged her shoulders, "you just left this morning without eating breakfast" she said. "I just wanted some time alone is all. You didn't do anything to upset me, I promise" I said seriously and she nodded with a big smile on her face. "Well I want you to keep your other promise too" she said funnily, "Oh no what did I say?" I asked slightly nervous and she nudged me reminding me of how I told her I would answer her questions today.

"Ok fire away" I said taking a deep breath and leaning back attempting to relax as much as possible. "What exactly is 'our situation'?" she asked and I thought about it for a moment before speaking so my thoughts wouldn't get all jumbled and tangled. "Well we haven't discussed that yet and it's not just my place to dictate what it is. As far as what I told Xandra she just explained to me a little more what this soulmate thing is and that she didn't want to hurt me. So we talked it out and came to the conclusion that being friends is just easier" I shrug. "And the break up was amicable?" she asked nervously, "yes, she wasn't mad, in fact I've talked to her since so we're all good" I said smiling. "Ok I just have two more questions" she said and I gestured for her to continue.

"What did she mean when she said 'I'll do it'? Before she left" she explained and I took a deep breath knowing I hadn't asked her opinion on this yet. "I asked her to come back to the academy" I start, taking a pause to gauge her reaction. She seemed to be neutral but I could see a glint of something in her eye I just couldn't tell what yet. "I thought it would lighten the workload having another capable and powerful witch to help out. Not to mention we all need to be as strong as possible for what's to come AND imagine how powerful you two will be together" I said trying to sell my point. "You don't have to convince me" me muttered after some time and I sighed in relief that she wasn't mad.

"I think it's a great idea. I'm just so sad for Xandra because she can't be with you the way she wants to and I'm grieving for her. I don't know if it's a twin thing or what but I'm hurting and it's all so confusing. I'm not telling you this to make you feel bad, I'm saying it because I know she loves you immensely. I know this because I've tried to convince her multiple times to return to the coven and she refused profusely, yet you talk to her once and she does it without hesitation..." she says sadly. "Well don't feel bad I preached my ass off to get her to agree" I joke and she chuckles softly. "I'm not sad about the fact that she never listened to me, I just wish she could be as happy as I am" she sighed

"She will be star; I know she'll find someone that makes her incredibly happy. Let's head back home" I say questioningly, and she nods standing up and reaching out her hand to help me. We transmutated back to the house simply because we're lazy and I ate the breakfast I didn't get the chance to eat before we started lessons.
