I'm sitting at the diner for the second day in a row with mommy, she was supposed to go to work later but she got a call that someone wasn't showing up. I've been playing on my phone but I'm starting to get bored, I wanna go home and play with my toys!

Cautiously I manage to get off the stool without hurting myself and I see mommy talking to someone. I know I shouldn't interrupt but I'm really bored.

"Mommy" I whine but instantly regret it when I recognize who mommy is talking to.

Claudia! Oh no..

"Hi Billie" she smiles.

My lip starts wobbling and tears quickly fill my eyes. I slowly back away from Claudia before running to the bathroom.

"Billie!" I hear mommy yell.

I lock myself in one of the stalls. "She cant no! She fink I baby" I mumble to myself, running my hands through my hair. I feel like pulling it all out.

Knocking on the bathroom door makes my jump out of my skin. A sob leaving my mouth but I slap my hands over my mouth hoping they didn't hear me. I hear the door unlocking, it's quiet until someone knocks on the stall door.

"Billie, honey can you come out please? Tell mommy why you got so upset. I just wanna help baby" Lani says softly.

Wiping the running fluid coming out of my nose with my sleeve I speak again, "mommy 'lone?"

"Yes, I'm alone honey. Come out so momma can help you" Lani begged.

Hesitantly, I unlock the stall door and just stand in there. Not ready to be close to her yet even though I want her to hold me.

"What's got you so upset, bunny?" Momma pouts.

"C-Cwauda see me yittle" I croak.

"You don't want her to know?" She gives me a puzzled look.

"Mm mm" I shake my head.

"Why not?"

"Tuz d-den she tell Fae" I cry.

"C'mere angel" Lani opens her arms up and I crash into her wrapping my arms tightly around her. "You're okay baby, you're okay" she hums rubbing my back.

"How about this, what if we talk to Claudia together and you can ask her not to tell Fae? Would that be okay? Because I think Claudia really wants to be your friend" Lani says.

"Momma tell her?"

"Okay I can tell her but will you come with me?"

"Otay'" I shrug.

"Alright let's clean your face and go see Claudia" momma grabs some tissue gently cleaning my nose and wipes my tears.

We walk back out to the front counter where Claudia is. We make eye contact and she gives me a small smile.

"Hi, I'm so sorry if I did something that upset you" she sighs.

"Is otay" I mumble.

Mommy sits down on the stool next to Claudia and pulls me onto her lap. "Is it okay if I tell her?" She whispers to me, I nod.

"Claudia, you didn't do anything to upset Billie. Billie got upset because you might have heard her call me mommy. She's an age regressor but she's afraid you'll tell Fae about it" she explains.

Claudia looks at me, "I promise I won't tell Fae about your little side" she smiles.

"Pinkies pwomise?" I ask holding out my pinky.

"Pinky promise, love bug" she locks pinkies with me and I giggle at the nickname.

"Hug?" I ask holding my arms out.

"Aww c'mere" she smiles warmly, pulling me onto her lap hugging me tightly but not too tight.

"How about I give you my number and we can finish discussing what we were discussing?" Momma ask.

"Of course" Claudia pulls her phone out of her back pocket handing it to mommy.

"Why don't you guys come over to hang out with us tomorrow night? It'll be fun we can play games or something and get to know each other" Claudia suggests.

"Will that be okay, Bil?" Lani asks.

"Yes! Lub games!" I cheer loudly.

"Inside voices, bunny."

"Sowwy" I giggle.

"Great, I'll let Fae know. I've gotta run but it was nice to see you two again" Claudia hands me back over to momma.

"Bye bye Cwauda" I wave.

"See you tomorrow, love bug" she smiles widely.

Claudia leaves and momma goes back to working, but not before giving me my phone and some food. Although I couldn't stop thinking about tomorrow night, I get to be around Fae. I'm so excited, I just hope I can keep my little side at bay for a few hours.
